We used to dine here often. After Covid, we hadn't been back in a long time. And we most likely will not be going back again. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans. They gave me enough green beans to feed an army, and they were unremarkable. The chicken fried chicken was soaked with grease and the flavor of the chicken had a fruity twang to it. The grease seemed to be 2 weeks old. My husband had a big juicy and fries. The burger patty was soaked in the old grease and the fries tasted old because of the grease.My grand daughters chicken fingers had the same grease loaded crust. Every table was dirty, so we had to clean two off so we could eat. Just not a good experience and we won't be going back.....ever.

Great food that you pick up at the counter. Much more than I can eat. I ordered chicken fried steak with fried okra and tater tots. Triple fried meal. It was all excellent. You might consider splitting with a fried because of the generous portions. The chicken fried steak was enormous and we'll seasoned with a perfect crust. Okra was well cooked with a great crust and no spines.

This was our second stop here for lunch. I can't say enough good things. Service was fast and friendly. Burgers were served hot and fresh, and they didn't even hit the grill until we ordered. Toppings were fresh and plentiful, too. Highly recommend!

Have been to the original location many times and love it. Came to the New Braunfels location and was thoroughly disappointed. Kitchen, bathrooms and dining rooms were filthy. Lots of staff and dirty tables. No leadership running the place, just a bunch of kids. Place wasn’t busy and it took 20 minutes to get our food and when we did the fries were cold. Very disappointed!!!

Still a decent place to eat but the cleanliness at the New Braunfels and Boerne locations has gone way down hill over the last few years. Kitchens look dirty and bathrooms have been disgusting last few times I've been. Post covid has taken a toll on the quality and upkeep. It's a shame to say, but I'd avoid it unless you want to visit for nostalgic purposes... you'll more than likely be disappointed.
