This place is unbelievable in a number of ways. I had a problem with wings one day and received a phone call almost immediately during my complaint to apologize and offer free wings. Their food is top notch, the food is made in record time always, the employees are always friendly, and those Mattenga's text messages are timed perfectly when I'm driving home and I don't want to make dinner, Mattenga's always offers a better solution!

My new favorite pizza place in New Braunfels. I have been twice already. Both times my family and I have ordered breadsticks and a family style pepperoni pizza. The ingredients are fresh, the breadsticks were amazing. The pizza resembles a New York style pizza. The staff has always been friendly, and the pizza was on time as promised both times. A word of caution though. When using the online app, it tries to default to Schertz. So beware. One time I placed the order and it when to Schertz. Highly recommend Mattenga's. Will 100% definitely be back. I am bummed I have not known about this place sooner! Enjoy!

Food is awesome! Always fresh! I love the pizza and calzones...last time I picked up some wings and was surprised as I am not a wing guy, but they were great! Young kids at the counter, but they were polite and better than most around here. Small dining area if you want to dine in. Food is fresh and hot to take home.

I travel in RV and am always searching for a good pie. My Supreme pie from Mattenga's was excellent. The first thing you'll notice is a plethora of fresh toppings. Since I got a supreme, it was loaded with fresh veggies (in addition to peppperoni and sausage). I'm talking lots of veggies and enough red sauce (slightly sweet tang) to make every bite enjoyable. Being from Upstate NY, I tend to prefer NY style thin crust but their crust, while thicker, was semi-firm but light and chewy at the same time. Thanks for a great pie!
When I want pizza, it's always going to be Mattengas! Their pizza is AMAZING. Seriously, I've had so many pizzas from there & there hasn't been a time it's has been perfect. Also, don't forget to ask for their Texas Ranch! It's so good!
