Straight Dookie of a place. Overpriced place. Had some fun experiences here if you come and get out but to stay and enjoy yourself highly don't recommend. Pale horse no Bueno. The little 'bouncer' with braids was very rude to me and my party. Must've had some personal issues as Main reason we will not return.

Atmosphere has potential to be cool... I did not like feeling like I was clubbing at 6pm and the food was subpar. I think it has potential to be really cool later in the evening when you've already been out-not necessarily as a starter spot.

Love love love this place! So cute and great atmosphere! Their Happy Hour is awesome and i highly recommend reserving a table online, it takes like 1 minute and then you know you have a spot where you want it. The food is also 10/10

If possible I would give zero stars. Music is good but the service was S**** The white girl behind the bar dismissed me even when I said, "excuse me" to get her attention. Bar was empty so no excuse for poor service. Now I see why this place is empty all the time. I literally live down the street & always hear good music. So I decided to finally go, but never again! Discrimination at its finest! We always try to support local businesses but this will keep us away for sure, so thanks.

I am finally done with Pale Horse. This evening, stopped in at 6:32. Was told the main floor was closed for a "special event". Not for sure what that was, since we saw nothing special going on. Was told we needed to go upstairs to the Skylounge. The Thursday Spacial included a Manhattan. Strange, the bartender needed to look up the recipe online and then serve it to me with an apology in case it didn't taste right. Too weird! After a few minutes, the bartender left us alone and went downstairs. This whole ordeal was way over my head. When leaving, I saw no one in the downstairs area except young people sitting around drinking and laughing. No cameras. Nothing else. Again, I'm done with this place. Too many other fun places to spend money.

We had an absolute blast here! Our group is from Austin and we were looking for a spot that was out of the city and unique. The management was so thoughtful and accommodating when I emailed to let them know we had a bday celebration on a Sunday. They brought out the cake with sparklers and set up a beer pong/flip cup table for the group. The crab cakes were amazing and the bartenders were nice enough to experiment with a few mock tail combos for myself. The rest of the group definitely enjoyed their mimosas as well! Great experience!

Amazing place to enjoy indoor and outdoor drinking and dancing. Been here several times w/friends and they have totally enjoyed themselves. I recently had my 50th Birthday celebration and it was awesome. Definitely a beautiful place to experience. They do have 2 different locations for DJ’s to come in and play music. The Upstairs Skybar is a more of a Miami vibe rave music, where inside it’s a mixture of hit songs to dance and sing along too. They hired a female DJ the night of my party for the upstairs skybar. I’ll just say multiple people didn’t care for her style of music and left. Including us. We ended up going inside where the DJ played a broader variety of music and had the crowd dancing. I got to meet the owner & he was very welcoming. also love there restrooms, very clean.

I live in the apartments a few blocks from this bar and they are beyond noisy. I can hear them inside my apartment with the loud music they play for most of the night. I wish the city wouldn’t allow them to be so loud, everyone there must be deaf.

My husband and I come here a few times a month and a month ago we came in and ordered food for the first time and were blown away, specifically by the brisket tacos.... I don't know what happened but they suck now. Before they had this great sauce, that made them really flavorful, that made me want to lick the plate and come back for more. Now they are bland and with only a poor attempt of Pico as a topping... super disappointed. Overheard someone up at the bar talking about changes being made in the kitchen, I wish they'd stop. Only saving grace for the Skybar is the bartender Austin and the great cocktails.

UPDATE: 5/26/2021As the owner of an establishment I would have thought instead of trying to refute someone's personal experience you would take a paying customers opinion and try to do better. The menu was "changing" is what we were told by your staff, which I assume is the reason you were out of everything we were trying to order. I had to go downstairs and get someone to come upstairs to the bar to get a drink made and the appetizers were luke warm. I was in a party of 7 who were all in agreement with our experience which is why we went across the street to Double Schotts where we had an amazing experience.....read the review. ;)I took my wife out for her birthday on May 12th here because it looked like a really nice place.. Not impressed whatsoever! The drink I had, Mule, was terrible, the service was terrible and the appetizers were horrible! I will NEVER be going back to this establishment!

I walked in alone and sat at the other end of the bar due to COVID and practice social distancing. There were three groups of customers there at the time. The solo female bartender was talking to a couple sitting at the bar. I thought she would stop talking and come over to greet me and take my order but after 15 minutes I flagged her down. She went to the back to get someone to come take my order but she never stop talking to what I guessed were her friends at the bar. It’s ashamed I might not give this place another try because of my experience. The place looks very nice and upscale and my taste but end of the day is about Customer Service to be when I go out. I did not feel like I was treated as so.

Went to #Skybar on a weekday night and not too busy. Music was OK, decent genre, maybe a little overbearing for such a small space. Speciality Drinks were only OK. Flavor was not as good as the price would lead you to believe. The Atmosphere is unique to NB. Its an off-beat mix between the Skybar and Club downstairs. Seems like they are not sure on their target audience. But will likely do well, as they are Unique. The Skybar was nice and the weather was excellent. But the Tables were already falling apart due to weather exposure. Not sure what the Lounge Beds add to the experience and a few with stains lead you to wonder about their choice.... really they are too large for the small space. The Food - the Street Tacos and Sliders were excellent. Service was OK. We rated it Average overall, based on Price to Value and overall dysfunctional theme. But worth the stop, just to see it and enjoy the view.Update: I appreciate the owners response and added a star, as we did have a good time. I do believe that the venue will do well in NB. Our group had discussed this very point. That the Unique Theme will likely be the difference in the success, being slightly off the beaten path (at least for now). Many have not survived in that general area. We will try again at a later point (yes we were disappointed that the water wall was not running). Thanks.

I really wish this place was better. It probably was for a while. Our experience was as follows: -Way too many bar gnats. Please Google how to make a bar gnat trap with a glass, paper, vinegar, and dish soap. You can literally kill hundreds in a few days. -Food: Cold, and the taste was just a touch above a popular kids pizza play joint. -We ordered a few menu options and we had one person in the bathroom sick within 3 minutes. I wished our experience was better, but it was what it was.

Had low expectations based on reviews, however this place was cool! We had a great time! My fav drink of night —Walk of shame. The blond bartender on rooftop was our favorite! For a Saturday night wasn’t very busy. Hopefully you give this place a try. NB needs some upscale spots such as Palehorse.

Showed up and everything was going ok. A little crowed on the roof but that’s expected. One thing lead to another and it was a full blown party. When I go to open a tab and close out my wife’s, the transition was smooth. I go and look at my account and I have an additional 2 charges. I left a cash tip but why would there be 3 charges for an open tab for one night? I find this really low and sad as the one particular bar tender knew I had an open tab. For him to take advantage of me like this is beyond low. This reflects poorly on management. The manager standing guard not willing to communicate with others when being addressed is just something else... be aware when visiting this place.
