Braven is amazing! We came in to watch our daughter perform on Sunday afternoon. It was packed! This fantastic woman was bartending, running food, serving the whole bar AND restaurant with only one cook! And she never missed a beat! Been here before but had to give a shout out! It was a great experience! Try the chili with all the add ons!

Interesting spot with a great history. Look it up before you go (first legal female alcohol service in TX and American chili powder first created here). There’s no longer a secret or hidden garden but you can still figure out where it was located. The jukebox selection is to die for and the history that piece could share would be fabulous to experience. Was able to find a vegetarian menu item too.
