I stopped by today and got brisket and ribs to go. The brisket was proper Texas brisket rubbed with a coarse seasoning. The fat was rendered beautifully, like candy. The ribs were fall off the bone and delicious! The star of the show for me was the banana pudding. I've been on keto for months and it was well worth cheating to experience such perfection. Pop’s BBQ was sooo good! We tried it for the first time today (9/1/24) and really were blown away. We had the brisket, ribs, and banana pudding.
You can absolutely tell the amount of care that is put into prepping and cooking the food. We will be making this a tradition to come back each month, for sure.
Absolutely must stop here for the best fall off the bone ribs, perfect brisket, and tasty pulled pork. The banana pudding was a hit with everyone too. Our youngest and most discerning taste buds ate with compliments. The owner clearly knows what he's doing! Thank you. We will be back the next time we are in town.
