I remember coming into the store with a physically different coworker. The girls who worked there treated us thoroughly differently and had their order first, even though I ordered first. Two white men came in after me and received their orders before me. I understand I can’t change people's mindsets or behavior, so I wasn't upset. I asked for a refund as I felt disrespected. The young manager argued with me and demanded that I tell her why. I did not and asked again. Unfortunate experience that we are in 2025, and people still suffer from what seems like ignorance

Great location! I come here almost every morning to grab a smoothie before heading to work. The ladies that work in the mornings are super fast and always remember my order of slim and trim vanilla with peanut butter and metabolism boost! This staff really puts a smile on my face every morning. The space is so clean and the retail and drink areas are always stocked! My smoothie is always delicious! You should definitely give this place a try!! You won't regret it.

I never leave reviews but this smoothie king is Never open on time. This isn’t the first time I’ve come over here (18 minutes from me) to just have smoothie king and it not be open. It’s past 7am and these girls again didn’t show up until 8:10 to go in and lock the door and start setting up. And even then I while deciding if I was going to wait it out I saw several others drive up and leave frustrated as well. This is the only one in New Braunfels and just sucks to drive out here and waste my time and gas just to drive away frustrated and no smoothie in hand because some kids can’t come get to their job in time .

They should probably train their employees to greet people when they walk in. I came in and walked up to the counter and was boldly ignored by all three employees. I get it, they are busy making smoothies for people that ordered online. But here’s the thing. I ordered online, and I could be out of your hair if someone hadn’t ignored me and asked, or greeted me so I could tell them what I’m there to get. So I take a seat because I don’t want to be rude, and wait. 3-4 people get there order before me. One customer even turned to me and said ‘you must have ordered something complicated’. Because she saw how long I had been waiting. It wasn’t. It was a smoothie bowl in the freezer just sitting there waiting for its rightful owner lol. The bowl was good, the establishment is clean, but that really deterred me from visiting this location again. I even tipped generously online.
