It's decent. Sparse, but hopefully this is improved over time. A wider variety of wine would be good to

I love this place. Beer is always cold, the cheese is awesome and somehow Clayton changes the beer choice almost daily it seems. I've been looking for a local pub for 25 years and have finally found it.

MyPOV-A very beautiful and unique house that is quietly tucked in, that serves a wide variety of wine and bier. The atmosphere is fun yet relaxing. I do wish they had more food options aside from just cheese, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the small wonders of this place. Just eat before you go yo!!!!! Highly recommend trying this place out!!;)

Great relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff that makes you feel welcomed. Seems like a spot that locals go to. Off the main strip by .3 miles and worth going to. Outdoor seating under big trees if you don't feel like sitting inside.

The maiboch beer and the pils are excellent. They serve excellent cheese and crackers as well as popcorn. The cheese is made in Schertz, and we found it delicious. There is parking in the back. The owners are delightful. You will have fun. Highly recommended!

By far the best place to drink beer in New Braunfels. Go say hello to Clayton and ask for a pint off the side pull.

Found this casita housing wines and beers and got there just in time to enjoy owner Clayton making the wine list while we had our choice of table. Open almost three years this residence-turned-commercial bar has limited bite options but we enjoyed the salami/double cheese option with olives and crackers and a bottle of Santa Cristina Pinot Grigio from 2021- it was light and flavorful without being too heavy or dry for these 100°+ days in Texas! We stopped here spontaneously after some nearby antique shopping and got a sweet list of recommendations for our future explorations. Thanks again Clayton! Thanks for the Cajun music and offering music requests! Would love to come back and see even more art for sale and how this place progresses over time. Cheers

We wandered into this place on accident and are so glad we did. Really sweet, old hill country house with a great front yard to enjoy delicious local beers under beautiful, giant pecan trees. The staff is super kind as well! Will definitely return and absolutely recommend. Do yourself a favor, skip Krauses (and the wait) and head over to Stave.
