This is the old Taco Loco at NC's Ice House. The new folks are doing a great job with delicious food, a new menu, and wonderful service.
The food was amazing, definitely top 5 Mexican spot for me: the tortilla and pancakes were so fresh and fluffy. The eggs and bacon had a lot of flavor . The horchata felt like it actually had milk in it though. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s done in some places, but the rice tase was very faint and it tasted too thick and wasn’t sweet enough for me.

A mom & pop taqueria inside a convenience store. The ambiance is definitely a 0/10. But the food is AMAZING! I recommend the salsa verde, spicy but not too hot. Breakfast tacos are fresh and they have Barbacoa 7 days a week! Give it a go for take away or dine in

These folks took over from the original taco Cafe. First time visiting. I ordered the pork pozole and chicken mole plate. The pozole was excellent with big chucks of soft pork meat. The more mole was good, but could have been a bit more rustic. The chicken was fall off the bone good. My wife had the puffy tacos that were very good, but could have been more puffy, however the tortilla was nice and crispy. Definitely, will be back.
