Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in New Braunfels is one of those places that truly gets it right. Above all else, the service stands out the customer service is excellent. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted warmly and treated with genuine care, which makes the entire dining experience enjoyable.
The food is consistently good, flavorful, and satisfying. There’s a great selection on the menu, offering something for everyone, whether you’re craving classic Mexican favorites or looking to try something new. Portions are generous, and the meals are served fresh and hot.
It’s a great “little big” establishment comfortable and welcoming, yet capable of delivering a full, satisfying dining experience. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for a solid meal without breaking the bank.
Overall, it’s a dependable place with great service, good food, fair prices, and no complaints at all. Definitely a restaurant worth returning to.

The menudo was delicious. It is not your typical menudo however it was good. Tacos of barbacoa were delicious not greasy. Asada was ok.

Walked in to place an order to go and get some chips and salsa and because we were “not sitting to eat in and leave tip” was refused service and told to go to front if we want to place order to go. What’s funny is we sat to ENJOY chips and salsa while waiting for our food to go and was fully going to tip for the service and atmosphere. we just wanted our food bagged to go. Issues like these are common with this place it seems

I judge a MX restaurant by it's salsa (the first thing you will eat along with chips) and usually the food will follow. Unfortunately it didn't pass the test. Not the worst but not the best either. It's okay.

The food quality isn’t great. Service is a hit or miss and the atmosphere isn’t great either. It used to be a decent text-mex restaurant 10+ years ago.

The food here is pretty good. Lunch specials for 10.00 at the time of this post. Michelle is the best server! Kudos!

This place has the best menudo in town (so flavorful)! They also serve really good al pastor tacos. If you're looking for good food definitely come here, also the prices aren't too bad either. My server Silvia was on top of her game!! Thank You!

Came back for their lunch specials $9.75. Good job on the cooks! I had the hard taco with cheese enchilada. I enjoyed everything specially their Mexican rice and salsas.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. You get a lot of food at a great price! Everything we have tried is always so yummy and freshly hot! I think the only thing I don't like much are there free chips but they make up for it with their salsa! It tastes so yummy and homemade. I also love how they sell pastries and other things at the front too! Probably my favorite thing about this place is how you can walk ina and literally seat yourself wherever you want. Restrooms are always clean also! Definitely recommend this to anyone trying to find a good place to eat on a budget!
Love it
