Limited food & very limited drinks, even less than in the 2023 season!!! No margaritas, come on ya’ll it’s Texas! Get rid of the slushies & add margaritas.
Very, very crowded in River chute area stairs with tons of people around to wade through to off load yourself & tubes. They need to have a lifeguard or staff to move people along so tubers can get through!!! A real mess!!! Traffic control for people is non-existent!!!
VERY limited parking, get ready to walk many blocks from the street parking. Bring your own drinks & food due to limited drinks/food. Cost $20 to bring in a cooler with food/drinks, but well worth it, as the drinks & food are very expensive & aren’t good. Serves beer at $5.00-$6.50 each & only 2 mocktail Slushes at $9.97 each.
Purchase a “Cabana” if you want some semblance of privacy & sanity. They have Cabana grills to cook your own food, which is great!!! Unfortunately, freeloaders took over part of our area & blocked our access to our grill (paid for & couldn’t use) & no Float in staff/monitor to ask them to leave. I didn’t want to get into it with them as they had scuba tanks & I didn’t want to get hit over the head with one!!!
Bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to very Loud music as the DJ plays music at deafening levels. Other than that, we had a good time with family at the Cabana.
This is such a fun time on a hot summer day. Bring your grilling food and drinks and stay for the day!
Had a great time and help with my daughter experiencing the river for her first time. Thank you Brooke and Jackson for all of your help with the memories!!
I don't even know where to start, we decided to go to this place because it was in a video and of course the place looked beautiful but nothing to see, secondly the price was too much for what this place is, it was over 100, they don't have signs that indicate that there are very deep parts because I could see how people who do not know how to swim jumped on their floats and almost drowned. At least they should put a warning or wear vests. They never said that to be able to use the water fall you have to pay separately. In short, a lot of misinformation, I don't recommend it!!
Came a few weeks ago and had an amazing time out there! Grant especially made sure my group and I were taken care of! Will for sure be back before summer ends!
How do u charge $400 for a canopy. Charge me and my wife $40 per person to enter the place then $25 for taking in a cooler. That's a New Braunfels RIP OFF.
Float in was a great time! It’s right on the river and has a fantastic view of the tube chute. Grant was super helpful and pointed us in the right direction multiple times. The bartenders were amazing! Elise took great care of us and had awesome drink recommendations. Will definitely be back!
Great location! Friendly staff - shout out to Tristan A. Great job!
I organized a large group of people in advance, almost 50, and was very impressed by the help and communication I received in the weeks leading up to my event. Float In worked with me very carefully to ensure my group's needs were met, and that we were well taken care of. I would like to give a particular shoutout to Brook because she was able to answer all of my questions, made sure my group was taken care of during check in, helped me with cabana rentals, greeted us at the front, and overall just kept in contact with me for the weeks leading up to our visit. Because of her professionalism, my company is already planning another large group visit before the end of the season. Thank you Brook and thank you Float In, can't wait to see you guys again soon
Drove here for a private party event but there was no parking (unless willing to pay $20 to scalpers a moderate walk away from the check in site). Was advised by the check in booth to drive to the Courthouse for handicapped and public parking which is way too far away for an elderly person to walk let alone a mobility impaired person (0.3 miles, map posted below). Serious lack of concern by Float In booth employee even after advising we were guests of a family who rented the whole weekend there. So we canceled.
Response to Owner: arrived at 12Noon to a sign that read "Lot Full." The only free parking your booth employee directed us to when we asked was the Courthouse, 1/3 mile away (map below).

Been going to The Float In for many years. Such a beautiful venue and lovely staff. Brook S. has always helped us with whatever we needed to make the day great, from renting cabanas to choosing the best menu items. A great way to spend the day with the family cooling off on the comal.
Best spot on the Comal River! Restaurant, bar, tuning and Cabanas!
Maddy and Haley were super dope and attentive. Great customer service! 10/10
The staff is friendly. The place is nice. Somewhat pricey, though... Barely worth it, really. They charge $20 for parking and then everything is pay pay pay... You can lounge there but it's expensive to reserve a spot by the river
The place is nice but old and dirty looking. It definetly needs a refresh. We ordered Calamari.. not sure what we got exactly. It looked and tasted like fish sticks, we were reassured it was calamati, anyways not worth $12.
