Pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! Reasonable prices, very friendly staff and quick delicious food.
I went to this TIAS TACOS in the morning to get breakfast tacos. And I got a Bacon, egg, and cheese taco, I took a big bite and I got a “mouthful”!!!! Of egg shells!!!! it’s like they threw the whole damn egg in. I will never be eating at this restaurant again!!! Disgusting!!!
Ate barbacoa there yesterday, been throwing up ..
A must stop every time I’m in New Braunfels! Homemade tortillas, refried beans, deliciously seasoned rice. It’s all perfect. Food is always hot, served up fast, and the staff is friendly and kind. 11/10, I love this place.
Exceptional service. The ladies very attentive, and the food are always delicious.
So here is the experience. Every time I go here they scream at me because their speaker doesn’t work. Multiple times I have a very long wait at this place. Today was the most horrible experience. I order 50.00 in food and told to pull up. There isn’t much room to pull up. Needless to say several customers got their food, and I was told to pull around. I said no I just want a refund. Again they couldn’t hear me, so I pulled around. Told them I have been waiting for 30 minutes, and don’t want cold food. They said it was only 15 but it was 30 minutes. The service staff are not customer friendly. The food is great but I won’t be coming back because of this consistent service issues.
We were told we had to try this place because they have the best breakfast tacos. For the price and the quality of the tortillas, I can understand the sentiment, but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. It was just generic tasting tacos with little to no filling. If you want some fast and cheap, it's a fine choice, but there are better tacos to be had.
Eggshell in my taco today. Need I say more?
On Potranco rd. Ordered 4 tacos the Mexican lady Amy wanted to charge me for two extra littles cups of salsa after only giving me two in the bag for the 4 tacos. She actually wanted to argue about me asking for two extra salsa mini cups. I walked away while she wanted to incite argument. Terrible customer service.
My wife and I have been to Tias Taco hut before over on Babcock had great service. Today we tried Tias on Blanco by Churchchill High School on Blanco, I had order beef enchiladas the waitress brought me cheese enchiladas she even said who ordered the beef beef enchiladas, as I cutted into the enchiladas it was cheese , I had told the lady I order beef she no you order the cheese , the showed me the ticket what she wrote down , but I didn't want cause a seen but I told I said beef and my wife know I said beef. but the lady didn't offered to fix so I ate it anyways because the food is good, so I'll give a rating to this location a 7 for now.

This is hands down my absolute FAVORITE spot for authentic Mexican food! I don’t live in San Antonio, and I’m not from here, but trust me—I know good Mexican food when I taste it. And this place? Worth every mile of the 4-hour drive I make just to eat here once a month! The food is consistently amazing, the margaritas are perfection, and I’ve never had a single bad experience. I’m hooked!
Apparently the migas taco doesn’t come with cheese? First time I’ve heard of that

I got an order to go at 10:01 and the lady in the front told me it will be 25 minutes . I come to the front at 25 minutes the tacos weren’t ready . There is people that been coming in after us to order to go order and they would leave right away with there food . I understand that the restaurant can be busy sometimes but also don’t tell someone the time of wait and then expect them to wait for an hour for simple tacos order . Plus pleas have a friendly face in the front that love serving customers at the food industry. Good customer service is important .

Service at this restaurant is sketchy at best. But the food makes up for the service.

First time here for me. I don’t know why I haven’t gone here before. I ordered the Mexican plate. Wow. A ton of food. For $14 including my can of Diet Coke, look at the picture. Two cheese enchiladas, rice and refried beans, then the other plate a crispy taco and a chalupa. Crazy amount of food for $14.
Taco and chalupa were excellent. Crispy, fresh and seasoned perfectly. The enchiladas were outstanding, the rice and beans were up there with the best I’ve had in Texas, certainly the best in New Braunfels.
It’s a no frills type of order at the counter place. Clean, friendly service and fresh, tasty food. Lots of construction workers eating here, that’s a great sign of quality and quantity. Yum.
Mexican music playing in the background. Nice place.
Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly. Bright, clean. Nothing to break.
Wheelchair accessibility: Convenient handicap parking, easy trip to the ADA door, the tables are conducive for wheelchair access. Every one of them. Great place for wheelchair bound or disabled folks
