My husband and I have frequented this location since their opening. We have always had amazing food and amazing service. Today was SO FAR from that. We used the new touch screen system. It was so frustrating to use. The staff that we asked questions to regarding our order was also very annoyed by the screens and not helpful at all. It’s so off putting to use a screen and then automatically be asked to tip 20%, like why? I am having to use a screen to figure it out for myself with staff making me feel like a loser. My husband tried something new. It was a joke. The advertised picture of the 3 street tacos looks so appealing. He got 3 toddler sized tacos. Rethinking our happy hour weekly date night after this awful experience. The world is too expensive, would rather just go across the street to Chuys at these price points.

I ordered two steak fajita tacos and a tipsy chick. Every tacos was freezing cold. I even asked my wife to put her finger on the food to see if I was just being crazy. She even stated that it felt like it came straight out of the refrigerator. Sadly this is by far the worst torchys I’ve ever been to. I appreciate them refunding me without push back. I would steer clear of this Torchys until there is higher a standard.

It's was so fun I took it family and we need a spot to eat and we saw torches tacos the food was fantastic 😋we also got the churos and they were fantastic and they were defiantly a fan fav, all of the staff was very friendly and it was not to crowed or that pricy great please to go I would definitely be going back

Decent but not great. The meat on my taco was skimpy. Also the tortilla was barely warm. Almost 6.00 for one skimpy taco. Then they ask you to tip??
I've been to the New Braunfels location a few times and it never disappoints! The staff are always super nice, it's got good vibes without being insanely busy and the manager has taken the time to stop and check in every single time I have been here. I can't remember another restaurant that I have even seen a manager out on the floor, let alone chatting with guests, bringing extra items, or just ensuring that the food really is DAMN GOOD. I've been to this location many times and have always been pleased with the food and service. I also like that they have a dog friendly patio. I've brought my dog sometimes as well when the weather is nice.

There's a menu board to check out before getting to the ordering kiosk, but the kiosk doesn't necessarily reflect what's on the big board. It was my first time in and it felt super impersonal not having anyone to answer my questions. I wanted the breakfast burrito but couldn't find it on the kiosk menu so I got a fajita burrito insteard. The price said 7.50 but after choosing a meat it went up to 12.50. then they ask for a tip... For who?? The only person I saw was the guy that dropped off my to go bag and he didn't even bother taking the buzzer (which also didn't work). The burrito is barely warm and tastes like tomatoes only. Like the entire thing taste like biting into a tomato. The fajita beef is chewy and mostly fat. No flavor other than tomatoes. Definitely my last time at torchys
