It’s been a few weeks since I last had H-E-B Texas barbecue, and somehow I forgot just how ridiculously good that brisket is. One bite in and—boom—instant reminder. Juicy, tender, piled high on a toasted bun… I added coleslaw and went full Texas-size. Honestly, I almost needed a nap halfway through. The brisket-and-pinto beans? Let’s just say they did not skimp on the brisket. Flavor for days, just the right amount of sauce, and I even topped it all off with a little extra spicy sauce because why not? They had just opened at 11 a.m., and the service was excellent—shoutout to Desiree! Food came out hot, fast, and smelling like happiness. I’m moving out of state soon, but I already know that the next time I’m back in Texas, this is my first stop. Five stars all

The first couple or few times I went there they gave generous portions and then this last time I went they gave me one tiny slice of fatty brisket and three relatively small pork ribs with like no meat on them as in I paid 28 bucks about for tiny bit of food I guess it depends on whose working because one slice of fatty brisket is not worth it at that price the ribs were alright I guess. However the meat is exceptional just wish they went by weight or something because there's no way that slice of brisket constitutes that price

Atmosphere was great and the people were great! Only sadness is the change in Mac and Chesse I LOVED the previous Mac I can taste the difference.
Staff maintains clean tables and work areas. Customer friendly experience while ordering and picking up meal. True Texas team on walnut in New Braunfels, really take pride in their work and it shows.

Had the brisket loaded baked potato and the smoked brisket chili. Potato was perfectly cooked and a great size for the money! The chili was amazing! Great flavor with the right amount of kick! It’s a limited time for the chili and I highly recommend it!

This HEB Bbq location is my personal favorite. No matter what food I get the food is always perfect and the service is always professional. I will always gladly eat at this location when my stomach growls for some good BBQ.
