Water 2 Wine is my unofficial office, therapy lounge, social club, and sometimes a wine-fueled escape from the chaos of adulting. I’ve been going here for years, and if it ever closes, I will consider laying on the doorstep and crying.
The owners, Tre & Angel are the sweetest (sometimes sassy *cough cough* Tre *cough cough*) owners ever. They're extremely knowledgeable about wine and make this picky girls heart and tastebuds happy.
They have an incredible staff with Johnny (who's won best bartender in NB for like a lot of years, don't ask me how many, I can't keep up, might be convinced he's bribing the town with sass and charcuterie boards), Ameilee (the queen of arts and crafts and the designer behind their door of events each month), and Lexi (who makes it a point to remember anyone and everyone by name and their wine of choice; seriously the second time I ever met her she greeted me like besties and I live for that energy).
The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming which makes it a great spot for a girls outing, date night, or remote work that’s mostly just answering one email and then reward-sipping for your efforts. It will forever be this wino's fav spot to sip, yap, and pop a squat.
11/10 would recommend. No notes. Just go.
Son and fiancee did this for upcoming wedding. Staff-Johnny was fantastic! Provided over the top customer service for this mother of the groom!!
Delicious wine! Great place to stop for a drink after the Farmer's Market or a day of shopping.
Wine tasting and food and service were amazing! Thanks, Rebecca!
Fun wine tasting room. The Owner was so friendly and welcoming. Wine flight was enjoyable and reasonable at $15 for 4 pours. They have Membership packages which looked great if local.
This is my happy place ❤️
Tre, Angel, Johnny, Rebecca never fail to take care of us and they genuinely enjoy getting to know their customers. If you enjoy wine and a comfortable, welcoming environment, make this place a regular stop. I’ve never been disappointed.
We enjoy coming here and being wine members. Wine is great and the whole staff is so nice. I even got a batch of wine for my company.
Great customer service!
We have had an amazing time each time we have visited. The staff is wonderful and the wine delightful
Fun time. I recommend getting a glass of wine if your choice. Great hospitality!

My favorite wine bar hands down. Not even talking about Just New Braunfels! Please do yourself a favor, go into the historic building in downtown New Braunfels, and have world class wines bottled on site, and served by some of the sweetest, knowledgeable, and funniest staff and owners. This is your new hangout. Be a regular; be family.
The wine is great and the owners are very friendly! Johnny and Rebecca at the bar really know their wines and are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly
Great place to unwind. Friendly, fun, great wines. Overall a fantastic experience. Staff is spectacular and friendly. A very enjoyable business.
My absolute favorite Winery. I live in Port Arthur, Texas. Once a year, I come to the New Braunfels area so that I can purchase my 2 cases of wine, which will help to carry me till the following year. I love sweet wines, and they have the best selection to choose from. At the present time, I believe they have 11 different sweet wines to choose from, 2 of them, which are their reserve and a higher alcohol content. Now, not to leave anybody else out who doesn't like sweet wines. You have got to check them out or look at their website. They offer a semisweet selection as well as quite a few red and white wines that I tend to refer to as the dry side, but I am not a wine connoisseur. I just know what I like, lol. The last time I asked, they would deliver but in the cooler months. Can not deliver in the summer in Texas.
The people here was so nice. The wine was okay. If you like sweet wines, my mother in law got the sweet wine flight for $15 and really liked it. I had the red wine flight and it was okay. We got the charcuterie board which was good but maybe a bit overpriced at $25 for what we got.
