Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I went for the first time recently, taking my son for a father-son lunch, and I was really impressed. This is what fast food used to be. It has a fun retro diner vibe inside, and the food is excellent. The burgers are great, shoestring fries, and fun sauces. But what surprised me most was the service. The staff was helpful, giving recommendations, and even when their computer system went down, they went above and beyond to make sure I got the food I ordered. My son and I had a great time, and now he begs me to go to Freddy's!

I recently visited the Valley Ranch location and was disappointed for the area. While the food was okay, the overall experience shows it is “managed” by teenagers.

The floors were slippery/grimy with water spots and no caution signs at minimum (huge liability). Restrooms lacked soap dispensers, and the temporary solution was a watered-down soft soap bottle. Napkins and sauces were also running low.

Communication was difficult—the cashier spoke too softly to hear in the busy restaurant, and intercom announcements were muffled as well.

I support giving young employees opportunities, but more care and attention would greatly improve this location. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Clean and good tasting food

This location need new people taking orders or someone else at the window. I wasn’t going to say anything but it’s still on my mind 3 days later. I came here on June 6 around 4pm we waited a good minute to even place an order because the line was moving slow when it was only 3 or 4 cars in the line. We were placing our order and we specifically ordered a larger cup of ice with our meal. We get the window and get our food but we still waiting on our ice. It was a Hispanic lady with face tattoos who gave us our food and after waiting we asked for our large cup of ice. When we asked she seemed like she was agitated and annoyed that we even asked. When she gives us the cup not only is it a regular size cup but it was only filled half way and with a hair in it. To me it seems like she deliberately put it in the cup… the cup was filled halfway and handed to us without a top and she seemed to have an attitude when we asked. If you eat here make sure you check your food or drink if it’s handed to you by the Hispanic lady with face tattoos.

In a hurry, no worries...

Filthy! I've seen gas station bathrooms cleaner than this place. Two of the three menu screens were off, I had to find a menu here to see what they had to offer. Trash mixed with spilled soda on the floors, (they did take the time to put out a wet floor sign) tables were filthy. It seems like the owners don't care and are letting it run down. The food was ok, nothing special, typical fast food cheeseburger.

I got lunch earlier today the food was great but after i put my concrete in the freezer to eat later i noticed that they forgot my cookie dough again and i had to pay extra for the cookie dough this is the third time its happened at this location

We came in at 4:00 PM. They were not busy. Maybe 4-5 customers seated. Four employees were standing in the lobby. A lady finally came around to wait on us. Said nothing, just stared at us until we said hello. Then went to set down, every table was dirty. The floor was greasy to the point you were sliding around. Picked up our order. Had to go ask for fry sauce because there was none. The employee was on their cell phone. Our food was good! Service and cleanliness of the restaurant was terrible.

Pulled Into Drive Through With 2 cars in drive through pulled up to order waited 4 minutes to be told to hold on a minute then asked to order and was told to wait another minute waited 5 more and pulled behind a the vehicle who was in front of me . Was leaving and cashier ignoring me . Owner has at least 6 people working and there was a total of 2 cars on front of me to sit in your drive through for over 12 minutes was more than enough for me to not go back again

My wife and I walked in as they were opening at 10:30 AM. We ordered our food and went immediately to the bathroom. The exterior around the bathrooms had so much grease on the floor. We both almost fell and then inside the bathroom was just as slick. I immediately tell the young lady who put out a wet floor sign, but didn't do anything about the actual problem. As we came out of the bathroom we noticed several tables that were 1/2 clean at best. Someone wiped them down with their eyes closed. Our food came and our burgers looked like they were thrown together haphazardly. We love Freddie's, we eat at the one in Tomball all of the time. We definitely will not be back to this one.

The food was exceptional 👌. The fries fabulous. My boyfriend and I ordered two doubles to dine in. What we didn't like was the greasy floors, very slippery. I don't think freddy would have liked it.
