They are only open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 2:00 and reopen at 4:00. I showed up twice within 15 minutes of closing after lunch. Both times they were nice enough to accommodate us anyways. I am working near by from Fort Worth. Pam is so nice and gives a warm welcome. I will definitely return if ever in the area again.
Hole in the wall spot with very good HOT food! White, flakey strips’ (not filets) cook perfect, had to allow to cool enough to eat. Homemade fries, cut fresh, on premises & great coleslaw. Hubby had the most tender steak fingers we’ve ever eaten & homemade mashed potatoes were outstanding! I would not recommend the tea (either spigot/instant or maybe the local water taste, not a fan) Certainly out of the way spot but prices were excellent along with down home service!
We just happened upon this place while out on a drive. Glad we did. It's not elegant dining, but isn't meant to be.The staff was wonderful and the food was great and there was a lot of it, especially for the price. Very reasonable. The Misses ordered the full nachos and we ended up taking almost half of it home.Next trip to Nocona we'll be back.
