“Stanley’s is very good barbecue and slots in to the top tier of BBQ joints. The brisket was juicy and flavorful. The baby back ribs had the right combination of smokiness and a hint of sweet. The queue to place your order moved at a snail’s pace, especially when compared to some of the well oiled machines in Dallas that have it down to a science. There are plenty of seating options to satisfy whatever vibe you’re feeling. Stanley’s is a must visit whenever you’re in Tyler.”

Her food is labeled “allergy” which increases our confidence that protocols were followed to ensure she does not get exposed to gluten. “I don’t review a ton of places but this place was so clean & our server was very good! My biggest ick for a restaurant is lack of cleanliness so I notice it fairly quickly and it can make or break my experience there…I was super impressed with how clean the place was. Even the restroom was very clean and the entry to the bathroom has a great open area with a changing table. The owner/manger (not sure) even told me they were planning to put up a curtain there so to create a private space for changing or breast feeding! He asked about our food and cared about our feedback. I will go back…oh and YES our food was delicious!”

“Finally made it out here and WOW it was worth it! I ordered cookie butter, wedding cake, and red velvet Nutella macaroons. Very nice store, incredibly friendly staff, fully worth the special trip! I think the cookie butter was my favorite but will simply have to confirm by trying again!”
