“Stanley’s is very good barbecue and slots in to the top tier of BBQ joints. The brisket was juicy and flavorful. The baby back ribs had the right combination of smokiness and a hint of sweet. The queue to place your order moved at a snail’s pace, especially when compared to some of the well oiled machines in Dallas that have it down to a science. There are plenty of seating options to satisfy whatever vibe you’re feeling. Stanley’s is a must visit whenever you’re in Tyler.”

“Everything was absolutely perfect. Atmosphere, service, food, and everything in between exceeded our expectations. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary, with fresh flowers on the table & a personalized menu which was such a thoughtful touch! They accommodated our gluten allergy (even had an employee run to the store to grab GF bread for our appetizer) & everything was delicious. We had the whipped feta (outstanding and beautiful), the Cesar salad (best salad I’ve ever had), the filet (cooked to perfection), Brussels (absolutely mouth watering), puréed potatoes (so yummy), and lobster mac (obviously not GF, but my husband said it was delicious). The sides are big enough to share, so keep that in mind! The virgin Bloody Mary and Hidden Garden mocktail were both so good. Estevian even left us a hand written thank you card and provided outstanding service. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough, and we can’t wait to come back! (As an aside, this probably isn’t a place to bring small children, so mom and dad will look forward to the next sans-kid meal to share here!)

The attitudes of the employees taking my order were impeccable. Even talked me into trying the banana pudding shake , which is my new favorite. The store was clean too. I am so thankful you finally got a manager in the store that was capable of pulling it all together. You've made a regular customer out of me!”

“Hands down the best whataburger I've been to so far! Was passing through town and stopped to eat here, and boy was it worth it. The food was fresh and they did not skimp on fries and said "because this isn't McDonald's!" The cashier was also super friendly and kept the lobby clean and stocked. They also have TVs playing sports games which I hadn't seen before! Will definitely always stop by any time we're passing through.”

Then I had pechuga de pollo a la plancha. Grilled chicken breast with rice, beans, sweet plantains and salad with delicious dressing. Russ had filete de pescada frito o mojarra. Breaded/fried fish filet, served with rice, beans, salad, and fries. We will go back!”
