It's consistent, it's delicious, and there is always a show.It's changed location over the decades, but it's managed to keep it's quality. We get f'd up on saki, sushi, steak, and conversation with strangers.There is one shortcoming:When you ask for a rare steak, they give you a medium steak. Every time.What's the secret bribe or message to get a real rare steak?”
“Was out shopping most of the day and hadn't eaten anything so when we saw Jucys we just had to stop ! My husband had a blue cheese burger and I had a lettuce wrapped burger, both were delicious. I would recommend Jucys to everyone, their burgers are always fresh and delicious and the dining areas are always clean. The employees are always welcoming and courteous . Will be back next time we are in the area. Almost forgot to mention the beans they have at the drink/condiment station, they are excellent and would recommendthem also. Overall a Great place to grab a quick bite to eat.”

I ordered the Migas and the cinnamon roll pancakes, both were great. The price is about what to expect from a local diner, not too expensive but the food was great.Highly recommend it if you’re in town and looking for breakfast.”

More like indian food than greek food it thats what your looking for no taziki of any kind no dressings just ketchup and garbage wont be eating here again. I wouldve askked for a refund and ate somewhere else but i was with my freind. You get a small bottle of soda for three dollars and a small plate of food for 14. Not worth the money or disappoinment. It was 40 dollas for two plates and two drinks.”

“UPDATE FROM MY 1ST REVIEW OF POTPOURRI HOUSE FROM 5 YEARS AGO... We were so excited to come back to Tyler for a visit and find that The Potpourri House was open. It had been updated and made more trendy, and although we missed the pretty water fountain inside the eating area (the sound of the fountain ⛲️ was calming) we liked the new updates.I had the portobello mushroom soup, Strawberry salad and chicken salad sandwich trio which was absolutely ?! The soup had lots of mushrooms and had a great flavor. My daughter had the French dip sandwich and fries. The sandwich was piled high with tender meat and served with au joux to dip it in. We had the spiced tea again and although it seemed a little sweeter than last time, I simply asked our nice waitress to put a bit of regular unsweetened tea in with the spiced tea and it was perfect.After lunch, we of course went to walk around the beautiful shop. The ladies were very friendly and it was fun seeing all the colorful earrings, dresses, etc.This is one of our favorite places in Tyler.1st REVIEW FROM 5 YEARS AGO... I’ve been eating here for consistently over a year now and every time I walk in I’m greeted by the warmest, friendliest smiles. The service is unmatched, and it all starts with manager of this store, Luis. Seriously the best guy. A couple weeks ago my girl ordered online and I went to pick it up for her. Of course I didn’t check the bag first, and of course this would be the one time out of 1,000 the order was wrong. Disappointed, I called up there to see if they could just comp what they’d forgotten, but the Piada team took it a step further and refunded the entire cost of the meal (something they absolutely did not have to do.) This is the type of business you feel good about spending your money at, and overall there’s not a better bang for your buck as far as quality food goes in Tyler. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed”

Whenever I call ahead, he hears my name and asks if I want my usual, then it’s ready to go when I get there. The cajun spices add the tiniest kick and powerful flavor to everything on the menu. Quit settling for overly processed, mass produced garbage and go get a quality meal with quality ingredients prepared by a quality man.”

“We are from out of town so really had no idea where to go, my son chose this place since it was his birthday. We were not impressed when we first walked in it felt dank and greasy and there were literally maybe 2 other tables at 7:00 on a Thursday. I got the feeling it was not kid friendly but we had our 3 year old and decided to roll with it. The hostess, like others have said, was on her phone a lot. Nobody came to our table for a while; once our waitress got there she was nice and gave recommendations which I always appreciate. I was surprised by the food as I was not expecting it to be good. Pita bread and hummus appetizer: hummus was pretty good and had good flavor, pita was like cardboard. I got the bacon and blue cheese burger and honestly it was one of the best burgers I have ever had; cooked perfectly, they have a homemade ranch dressing that is DELISH and went so well with my burger. Penne pasta was good, macaroni and cheese was good. Chicken fried chicken was pretty good. House made chips were good. It was pretty expensive and like others I don't like being up charged because I use a debit card. It was over 200$ and we don't drink alcohol. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers, 11 year old, and 3 year old. The waitress was sure to let me know their restaurant was geared more towards adults so we probably will not be going back because we always have children but I would not mind having that burger to-go again!”

“We went here while on vacation. It was ok food. I had to wait 35 minutes just to get 3 drinks while watching the waitress serve 10 others. Finally I saw a manager and asked about it. I saw my waitress running to get my drinks finally. At the same time, the other serve brought my food and dumped the sandwich in the table. I had to ask the manager to repkace it. At first, he was reluctant to do it. SMH... he finally did what was right. But this was a fun place to hang out.”

“I was afraid all the good Pizza places had fallen. Double Dave's, Half Moon - gone like snow in sun. Then a friend took me to this place. I got the supreme pizza, whereas she got the alfredo (which I also sampled). Not only did the pizza taste amazing, it reminded me SO MUCH of the pizza I missed from Half Moon. It might even be better than either of the former places I mentioned. Everything was amazing. The staff is friendly to the customers and to each other - listening to them cut up while I was eating was really entertaining and fun. OH, and whoever owns this plays has GREAT taste in music and television!”

We decided to try Breakers because we wanted oysters, but the waitress explained that they were out because their shipment of oysters were dead, and they had sent them back. We had the shrimp brushetta, which was really good. We ordered the seared ahi and the red snapper, both of which were really good. We decided to share a brownie, which came out hot and delicious. Our waitress was on point and kept our glasses filled and made sure we had everything we needed. We even had one of the chefs come out and make sure we were enjoying our food. Even though I would have really enjoyed some oysters I am glad they sent them back and didn't try and serve them like some other places would have. I will definitely be back.”
