“cannot say enough good things about this place !they have something for everyone, including tons of gluten free options which i don’t see a ton of around here!the staff is incredibly friendly, if you’re a tjc student looking for a new spot i would recommend it, its only a mile and a half from campus!i’ve gotten TONS of freeze dried goodies from here, and two different coffee drinks, and they were all so yummy!theres also an option to add collagen to your coffee which i think is awesome!“
“UPDATE FROM MY 1ST REVIEW OF POTPOURRI HOUSE FROM 5 YEARS AGO... We were so excited to come back to Tyler for a visit and find that The Potpourri House was open. It had been updated and made more trendy, and although we missed the pretty water fountain inside the eating area (the sound of the fountain ⛲️ was calming) we liked the new updates.I had the portobello mushroom soup, Strawberry salad and chicken salad sandwich trio which was absolutely ?! The soup had lots of mushrooms and had a great flavor. My daughter had the French dip sandwich and fries. The sandwich was piled high with tender meat and served with au joux to dip it in. We had the spiced tea again and although it seemed a little sweeter than last time, I simply asked our nice waitress to put a bit of regular unsweetened tea in with the spiced tea and it was perfect. After lunch, we of course went to walk around the beautiful shop. The ladies were very friendly and it was fun seeing all the colorful earrings, dresses, etc. This is one of our favorite places in Tyler.1st REVIEW FROM 5 YEARS AGO... The spiced tea was absolutely delicious and the staff was friendly. The store was adorable with a plethora of wonderful gift items.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu along with plenty of appetizers, sides or smaller size dishes that would suite for kids of all ages.“
“We enjoyed The Little Buddy which is 3 fried shrimp and 3 catfish filets. You get fries, coleslaw, pinto beans, and hush puppies. It's a great value. Our server was really great! They have great unsweetened tea. I recommend this restaurant chain.Parking: Restaurant is on a divided highway with barriers. You may need to make a u-turn or two to get there.“
“Highly recommend! I feel most people are not aware of this gem but they are missing out! Yesterday I was hungry for a good salad but sadly there are not many options on this side of Tyler. Decided to check out this place and I was impressed! Salad was super fresh and I’d venture to say best homemade ranch in town! My friend had the mushroom/swiss burger and she literally inhaled it! Customer service was above & beyond! We will definitely be back and soon!“
“I don’t know how I’ll ever be able be able to walk into this joint and not order a Dragons and Dinosaurs to drink with my wood fired oven Dad Bod.. the menus in Sola and the brewery and fun and creative. The service and atmosphere were outstanding! We recently moved to Tyler and it feels like this place is stuck in the early 90’s before things went haywire… that’s another conversation..We ordered a white sauce and a red sauce pizza and everyone at the table grabbed one or the other and professed it to be their new favorite pizza.. then the entire group grabbed the opposite flavor of their first choice and professed it to now be their new favorite. I look ever forward to our next trip to try some other options.I cannot wait for the weather to warm up to enjoy some live music in the future.Kid-friendliness: There’s a playground area for kids and it’s dog friendly! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.“
“I adore this place to pieces. The building itself, the atmosphere as soon as you step in, the people, the food that you can tell is made with truly good and fresh ingredients. Not even sure how the competitors are still open for business when this place exists. 10/10 bring your friends. Tell your family.“
“Loved it! Every time I come to Tyler I always make a point to stop in & grab something. I ordered online this time. The process was really easy and painless. Ordered directly from Google. When I made it here the young lady working the register greeted me with a smile & excellent vibes. The store was super clean and quiet. I love it here. I wish we had one of these where I live. My Açaí bowl was perfect. My bowl looked just like the picture & that rarely happens. Thanks to the folks who own and operate this spot. It’s lovely!“
“Olive to has wonderful soup and salad combos as well as excellent full meal dishes. My favorite is the chicken marsala followed up by the chicken calliente pasta as a close second. The servers are always attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and conducive to having a good conversation ?“
“The fro yo was great! The flavors were good too . The pricing adds up for 3 people, expect to pay close to $20. I've been to some places that only charge a cup fee, so you don't have to get charged per ounce. It's almost $1 per ounce. So just be weary of adding to your cup. It adds up fast!“
“I ordered zucchini pasta salad, like I always do, it was full of oil, which never happens, had no ingredients in it except the pasta & zucchini some kind of cheese & spinach. It had no Artichoke hearts, no rosted tomatoes & Asiago cheese.these things make the dish. It was nothing like what it usually is. I got just barely a better dish when I got it last time in longview. This is a normal stopping place when we come to town & this is my normal dish. I am very disappointed.“
“Bradley you were so awesome .I normally order to go and sometimes have to deal with attitude..Thank you for making the inside dining such a great experience..I wish you the best in school and hope you go far.Just in case you need to remember who this is, we were the two older ladies in the booth. Thanks again.Jackie“
“First off the service really is good here. Employees are friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. But it seems like we always have mishaps here. Sometimes they are out of something. Or another time, they sent out something that was clearly burnt.Usually we can tell somebody, and they fix it, but it happens.Otherwise, this is what you expect from the chain.Vegetarian options: They have a vegan chilli that hits the spot every time!“
“Pretty solid prime rib dinner. I like the new Double IPA 'Snook', or something like that...between Kristen and Riley I always had a full glass and everything else I needed. Fun team to chat with while I enjoyed my Friday night. Thanks!“
“Finally got to try this place! First, the atmosphere and the pastries are absolutely beautiful. The business is very dog-friendly, with special treats and a patio. I had a vanilla crème beignet doughnut (that was the size of my face!), an earl grey lavender macaron, a coffee, and took a box of macarons to go. The coffee was mid, but the customer service and pastries certainly make up for it! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to visit again & bring friends.“
