“I've been craving Sonic for a while, but all the ones around me are absolute garbage. I've always liked Sonic but having enough bad experiences will turn you off entirely.
I was on a little road trip heading back to Houston from Tyler, and I know from when I lived in Frankston that this location has been here for many years. I figured if it hasn't shut down yet, there's probably a good reason.
I was right. The burger I ordered was cooked perfectly, tots were crisp and freshly fried even at the late hour I'd visited, and the food runner was a really friendly young man.
The only reason I knocked off a star is due to the touch screen at the bay I was in being completely non-functional. I would've been happy to leave a buck or two as a tip, but no amount of smushing my finger on the screen had any effect. I was trying to see if there were some sort of physical buttons I was missing, but no... Just didn't work.
Y'all's employees are really nice, so I definitely recommend fixing that so they aren't missing out on getting a bit extra for their service.“
“Cassidine was the nicest carhop I've ever came across in all my years of going to Sonics. She definitely deserves a raise. She had a smile when she walked out all the way to the car. Thats rare these days. Yall are really lucky to have her.“
“Just witnessed human kindness in action. As I was waiting, an employee at this Broadway Sonic was helping an older confused lady figure out an order. She was very kind and patient with her. When the lady couldn't decide about a drink, the employee said she would buy her a Sprite and assured the lady she would not have to pay for it. I was very impressed with this young lady and told her so. We don't see enough of this in our world.“
“Customer service was fantastic. Love the Young female, Daijha sorry if I misspelled that name But she was incredible and very sweet and kind. Thank you for the great service. The food was wonderful as well. Fantastic shout out to the cooks. Thanks for a good experience!“
“I would like to let you know the young girl at the Troup Hwy in Tyler that was working Friday morning April 24. I am sorry I don’t remember her name, very sweet girl. She was working all by herself which is I thought was wrong, but I want someone to know that she was doing a awesome job. She deserves recognition or a raise, she was working drive thru, taking orders from stalls and delivering those orders and also cooking and I ordered a burrito and she had 16 burritos before me that she had to make! She was working her butt off!
I think your location needs to hire more people for the morning shift. I stop by this location in the mornings pretty often and they are always short handed but they get customers taken care of. Not complaining just observation! But bragging on the girl this morning and all of the morning people are very nice and hard working!!“
“This Sonic runs on cherry limeades and pure Betty magic. She’s hands-down the best at the window — always cheerful, quick, and makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Somehow she can juggle a rush, hand out tots, and still throw in a smile that makes your whole day better. Betty is the MVP of this Sonic, and I’ll keep coming back as long as she’s at the window!“
