Way over priced for fried chicken. 100 plus before tip for 2 adults and 2 teens. Wont return.

Have eaten at several Babes locations. Their food is usually to greasy for me, so I didn't eat this time (was there for a family birthday party). They do provide a ton of food for everyone to eat. It is extremely loud, making conversation almost impossible.

Arrived on a Sunday, around 5 pm. We were seated immediately, but by the time we left (~45 minutes later), the waiting area was packed. Service was wonderful - quick, attentive, and drinks never went empty. The restaurant can get loud, so if you have a hard time hearing, it is not a pleasant environment. Food was good.

A tad loud, home style menu, it is what it is, prices not fully explained, but the family meal is not included with the chicken price. Really fantastic fried chicken, endless mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, salad, bisquits are fresh all night. The green beans were disgusting, they were un' appealing, looked over cooked and just didn't fit the bill for the rest of the food quality. Several dessert outings if you think you haven't had enough, we bright home peach cobbler and it was fantastic.

Hot food to go packed plentiful! Super staff! Chicken tenders were JUST that! Tender!!! Crispy and delicious! The gravy is the best!!!

Food was ok, but the dishes were disgusting! We had to send three of the salad bowls back because there was food stuck to them. Then one of the replacement bowls STILL had food on it!
When we got the smaller plates for the biscuits, we again were provided plates with food stuck to them!
I don't know who is in charge of washing dishes, but I won't be back until they are fired!

The food is always awesome at Babe's.
Love the original in Roanoke! Have been to all of the newer locations, and NRH is my favorite. No bias just because I live nearby. The chicken is always amazing. This is my favorite place for a good old Chicken Fried Steak. Plus, the family style sides are delicious.
Now I'm making myself hungry!

This place was fantastic! The staff was some of the best I’ve seen. And birthday parties they make the birthday person wear a chicken hat and flock like a chicken while everyone in the restaurant joins in on singing.. was hilarious to watch.
