Cristina's Mexican Restaurant

Meh. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and kind. The restaurant is SUPER clean. I’m impressed that there is no dust on the rafters, wall decor’, etc. Clearly they pay attention to those details! Having never been here, we tried the fiesta platter, queso, and table side Guac. The best two things were the flautitas and queso. The rest was wayyy under seasoned for me. The tamales on the fiesta platter were room temperature. The table side Guac was hugely disappointing and bland. Food was just meh and not worth a return considering so many other Mexican food options in town.

We had a birthday party here and they did a fabulous job! Cruz was our waiter and he was awesome! The food was great and I look forward to eating here often!

Parking: Most of our party was able to park close to the restaurant. A few people needed to be very close to the restaurant and that wasn't a problem.

We were looking for a nice spot to enjoy some drinks and appetizers, and initially, our waiter was quick to assist us. However, when we tried to get his attention for a second round of margaritas, he didn’t see us. He was busy attending to a large group, so we eventually flagged down another server who seemed to be a manager. We placed our order for the second round, but it wasn't until 5:54 PM that our drinks finally arrived.

By the time we were ready to leave at 6:30 PM, our waiter still hadn't checked in with us. At 6:45, we had to flag down another server to ask for the bill. We mentioned the name of our original waiter, and she went to find him. When she returned, she asked if we had received the bill, and we told her we hadn’t. She came back again, saying our waiter hadn’t taken care of it. Finally, she brought the bill, and his name was on it. It’s unbelievable that we went nearly an hour without being checked on!

Good food with excellent service. It's a bit pricy for what you get, but it's a solid pick that’s not Tex Mex. Ask for hot salsa if that's your thing as the house one is mild. Kids eat for real cheap Mondays and Tuesdays at $2.

We order the beef bean cheese nachos or the chicken fajitas. I'm never disappointed. Also, their tacos and chicken or beef enchiladas.

Great atmosphere however I've never had such bland food in my life. I had birria tacos which tasted like it was only put in water to be cooked. No seasoning what so ever. My friend had brisket tacos and it tasted like pot roast. The Spanish rice also tasted like air. Was very disappointed. The waitress was nice but ultimately nothing was done about our complaints. Honestly I was too scared to try anything else because how does a Mexican restaurant mess up tacos and Spanish rice. Those are staples. I just paid my bill and left

Mexican cuisine is my absolute favorite food to eat. I've been eating at Christina's since 2008. I've not been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I've been to several locations, and they are all consistent, which can be a hard thing to find. Salsa is perfect! Great flavor, right amount of spice, thick and chunky. In store fresh made tortillas. Win Win with just those two things. The atmosphere is nice quiet. Not a bunch of loud music playing to try and talk over. Ambiance is perfect for me.
Southlake is my fave location. My only request would be to expand more towards downtown Fort Worth.

I HIGHLY recommend this spot. The staff was amazing. Our server was the best. Service we haven’t seen in a very long time. This is our new “date night” spot!
