We visited this restaurant back in March 2024. Me and my husband was meeting with a long-time friend. None of us had been to this restaurant but decided to go since it was close in the area of where we were staying. The outside was quite clean, and I loved the ambience of the restaurant; dark but not too dark. I must stop and brag on the waitress because our guest was quite unsure of what she wanted and because everything seemed so delicious she wanted details on the 5 items she had her choices narrowed down to.Shelly the waitress was amazing as without even looking at the menu was able to literally tell our friend exactly what she would be getting if she ordered say an ultimate fish sandwich, I mean right down to the way the sandwich is prepared. All three of us enjoyed our meal. It was fresh and looked appetizing and appealing. I was a little underwhelmed by the seasoning of the catfish because it tastes as though it had zero seasoning. Other than that, the service was good, and the bill was mid-range. So would I ever come to this establishment again, probably so….at least I can add some seasoning I cannot take seasoning away from meals prepared with too much salt and etc.

Went here based on 4.3 stars. Was expecting above average. Was fine. Friendly server. Fried oysters were good. Hushpuppies better than average. Everything else on the mariners plate was just average, and calamari and chowder, average. Tartar sauce was very good.

So we went here for a new place to try. Sounds like a place that has a lot of regulars. We went on a Saturday and were seated right away. We were given drinks menus and ordered our appetizer-fried calamari, very good! The waiter was very attentive and mentioned that he'd put our food order in when we were about 75% through with our appetizer. He came and took the appetizer and said the food was put in the kitchen. About twenty-thirty minutes later, he came by with another gentleman (manager?) who said there was an error with the printout and our food had not been put in until just then. They were very apologetic. They offered to bring us some hush puppies as we were pretty hungry at this point. They ended up bringing like 12 of them and a bowl of clam chowder. My husband said it was the best clam chowder he'd ever eaten, so that's one thing they had going for them. Our food eventually came-though they did mess up on it (forgot the tartar sauce I ordered with the poo boy, and forgot the baked potato that came with my husband's meal). I know a lot of people disagree, but I feel like a portion of the meal should have been comped. Instead of giving us extra of what we didn't order, they should have at least taken off the appetizer. The food was decent, the price was good. I just wasn't that impressed with the service and how they handled it. I think we ended up being there for almost two hours.

it's a very clean place and the waiters are very nice it's a graet place to hang out with family. staff is very nice food is great and it feels like everyone knows everyone when you walk in.its also a good place to get away from the family to watch a football basketball or baseball game.

It was my first time eating here and won't be my last. The service here was superb, lots of good options for meals, and the food was excellent. I had catfish with a loaded potato and Caesar salad.We enjoyed the atmosphere. It made us think of Cheers. And seriously, on a Friday night, I am pretty sure almost everyone there was a regular. They were all friendly, having a good time, and interacted with us just a little.It was my mom's second time there with my sister and brother-in-law and they love it.I even figured out who Norm is.We will definitely come here again.
So we went here again and I decided to try a burger. I tried the Jack and mushroom burger and it was great. It had a lot of flavor and it was cooked perfectly and the fries were really good also. Who would of thought you could get such a great burger at a seafood restaurant.

Went here for dinner tonight with my husband. What a cute place! And the staff is super friendly and just the right amount of attentive. We got an appetizer of fried things and it was just OK, though the cheese sticks were pretty on point. I had the stuffed salmon with some kind of garlic sauce and vegetables with a Caesar salad. The hubs had a shrimp po'boy. And then we split a piece of key lime pie for dessert. This was all delicious and it didn't break the bank. We will go back. (Sorry, forgot to take pictures!)
