Live right by it first time here. Seems short staffed. Took a minute to be greeted. Our server was average for how slow they were but the food??? Yummy I got the marytierra steak option. Delicious ??? margaritas we did strawberry rocks with patron. Great pour without being overpowering. Frozen marg was as good as any other regular frozen marg. Definitely a recommendation

Server was amazing and very attentive to us but our food from when we ordered which was enchiladas and street tacos came out in less than 10 minutes and was very subpar. I don’t know if the food was microwaved or not but the tortillas weren’t even cooked/warm they were cold. The food use to be good here but it seems like the quality is going downhill now at this restaurant sadly.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch, I ordered fajitas from lunch menu. My wife ordered 2 tacos, rice and beans. Get the bill and was charged $6 for rice and beans! The total for 2 tacos, rice and beans was more than my lunch fajitas! Asked for spicy salsa and was told not available. The salsa that was served was like tomato soup. Needless to say we will not be going back but instead go to Don's Taco's:)

The perfect place to get fajitas and a margarita after work! Our waiter was amazing, the fajitas were sizzling and the margaritas were strong. Will definitely be back.

My food was great! The shrimp was amazing, bean and rice were definitely delicious. Margarita was worth every penny! The only reason I gave them 4 stars was due to the their salsa. When you get sited they give you salsa and chips. The salsa was not spicy and it tasted like ketchup. But other than that it was great! We will be returning!

Overpriced, underseasoned, and no customer connections felt or witnessed. The queso was super bland. Frijoles Cafe y Cantina only serves warmed salsa- I love ice cold, refreshing salsa. The beautiful drink menu was far more colorful than the 3 drinks from the special drinks menu- they were all this murky orange ( not red, orange, and pink). I was looking for authentic Mexican, in the area-My search continues...

Being from San Diego, I had received a lot of warnings about TexMex. Y’all the food was so good! It was comparable to what I’m used to in sit down restaurants. But with a unique Texas twist on the flavors. We ordered chips and queso, the chimichanga, enchiladas montanados and sopapillas. The rice and beans were phenomenal. I could actually taste the seasonings in the rice! We ordered takeout but I think we’ll dine in next time.
