As someone who travels often, I usually try and find local poke spots wherever I go. Kahunas is a Hawaiian/poke spot offering traditional Hawaiian food. I had the pacific poke nachos and a poke bowl. The service was 10/10 and the food was 11/10. Super flavorful and wonderful presentation. Laid back vibe and super clean restaurant. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in the area

Best poke bowl outside of Hawaii!!! I’ve tried other places and it is the freshest seafood like we would get in Maui. They use a special seafood supplier. Highly recommendDietary restrictions: I am celiac and need to be gluten free and they have a menu for you to make easy choices
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and classic boba milk tea and they were very delicious! It was the best ramen I've had with the ramen seeping the pork into its flavor and the milk tea was refreshing.The food did take a while to come out but it's definitely worth it and it tasted very fresh.

Friendly service by the staff and one of the owners Jo. The establishment is clean and has a relaxation island vibe. I was told it has been opened for 3yrs. I love the overall aloha theme, menu options and reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and made to order. Spam musubi was delicious, warm, and flavorful. I enjoyed the crunch I received from the sesame seed furikake seasoning which I had no idea was on the bottom. After having my share of spam musubi in Hawaii and locally, I have to say kahunas exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to try more menu items the next time I’m in the area.

This place introduced me to Poke Bowls, and really has ruined it for everyone else trying to make them. Their bowl is fresh tasting, a good amount and reasonably priced. I've had poke bowls in may other places, and non come close to how good Kahunas is. Definitely go

The food was pretty mid, atmosphere was pretty neat but their food wasn’t. Tried a couple of their dishes but everything lacked flavor and everything tasted like salt and soy sauce. Save your money.
I love hidden gems and this was one of them. I got the poke bowl that had salmon and tuna and it was delicious! I never had mango bits or jalapeños in my bowl before but it brought a nice taste. The food was fresh and the service was excellent. I wish I lived closer to this establishment because I would have fit it in as one of my places to go.

This place was great! I wish we had gotten a picture. We did the Build Your Own bowls - they tasted great and were so big! The Spam Musubi was delicious as well. Everyone was so friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be coming back!

we were looking for some good ramen on this rainy day and ended up finding amazing food at this gem of a place! started with the carbonated ramune drink that reminds me of being a kid. ordered the edamame (chili sauce comes on the side) and tuna poke nachos as appetizers and was blown away by the freshness and phenomenal taste! the eel sauce on the nachos was my favorite! then we could barely get through our super delicious tonkotsua and shoyu ramens bc we were in a heavenly food coma. my ramen was still steaming by the time i put it in a togo box! i recommend checking this place out and it’s BYOB so might as well have your favorite cold beer with this above and beyond delicious food! 12 out of 10, truly! on top of everything, the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, can’t wait to come back :)

Absolutely delicious and amazing hospitality! I got the big kahuna poke bowl and it was very fresh and delicious. I normally don’t have leftovers but I had a good amount left, so awesome portion sizes.

It had a wonderful atmosphere and the food was excellent. The mochi was the highlight of my experience. We got black sesame mochi, and it came with delicious jam that perfectly completely the mochi. The ramen was also very good, but it's definitely not your average ramen. You can taste how the ramen is adjusted to the Hawaiian style.
