It was another long night for me, I must admit. I was at the store when I passed this by, and suffice to say, I was rather delighted from the whole experience. It was something I had not expected, and believe it or not- something I hadn't even looked for.I waltzed in towards the end of the day for the business, and of course it was kinda barren. Who would have guessed? But I was under the impression that it was going to be your common cookie-cutter restaurant with a few niches here and there. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see there was some love put into the menu and the people behind the counter were honest about what they had. I outright asked "Do you guys serve good food?" Always knocks people off their game, and some are BRUTALLY honest, but the person behind the counter was sincere when they said it was good. I ordered the Catsu Chicken? I think that's what it was called, and the food was delightful! Nice chicken on top of rice, with two flavorful Gyoza and some unique noodles to top it out. That and they had an array of tasty sauces as well. It was filling and just enough to call it a good- no, a great dinner. My only complaint however is that so much of their menu is crossed off! A dozen things are taken out and I really want to see what a place like this has. Of course, regardless, what they served was still very delicious. It's an itch you don't even know you need to be scratched until you try it yourself! Because I'll be honest- I was going to go somewhere else but found myself lost and ending up here instead. Best mishap ever! (And probably better of the two I could have picked.)

Really good food, the only local Korean place that is sort of near me that isn't all the way in Carollton. The food is really good, the prices have increased over the past couple of years but it's worth it. I will say it is a small place (hence four stars) and it can get filled up pretty fast so better to take it to go! The pork belly or bulgolgi bowl will be good for first timers!

We enjoy this place. I got the rice bowls. Price is good. Very satisfying meal when you are hungry.

The high rating brought me to this restaurant. You can't have Korean food without kimchee. Like eating fries without ketchup. I ordered the bulgogi to go. Not only there was no kimchee but the taste was so so.

It's not the same Namoo from before anymore. Everything great about the original Namoo is gone. Like free bottle water, free seaweed soup, edamame, pickles, and of course, the taste of every dish. All you get now is chewy glass noodle without ingredients, plain protein, and chopped cabbage. What's more ridiculous is that price is raised higher! We couldn't finish eating and ran out of the restaurant because all of a sudden the smoke from cooking filled up the entire space. Terrible experience. Never again.

This is honestly really good food. I always get the spicy chicken bowl and I know that chicken is kinda difficult to cook right, I've had some bad experiences with chicken before, but they get it perfect every time. Absolutely love the food and will definitely be returning, a lot.

Water now costs $1, soup is now $1, prices are jacked up and K-pop is gone. Been going here for years but it's now effectively gone. It's insane not to provide water. I'm done

They now charge for water, charge for soup, K-pop is gone, basically the restaurant is gone. Never going back and I've been going since they opened years ago. I will never pay 1,000% markup on water

Teriyaki chicken and also tofu is delicious. Love the clear noodles. You have to wait for your food after you order which is ok by me because I know it is fresh. You can wait outside at a patio table to be Covid safer is you like.

Would been a five star if still had the beef short rib bowl/plate.. Cook/owner said he recently removed it from menu due to high cost...

The food was amazing! We got there kind of late but the employees were very nice and gave suggestions on what they liked. The food was made to order and was so good!! My husband had the Beef Bulgogi and I had the Korean short ribs. The flavors were on point and tasted authentic.

We ordered the spicy chicken and galbi.. The meats were overcooked, jap chae undercooked, and random bits of I guess salad(?) without dressing are served in foam to go containers. I guess in the spicy chicken I expected a familiar, gochujang or duk bo ki flavor, but it was something more akin to a congealed American style bbq sauce, but spicy. Poor ventilation is apparent, not just from the haze settled in the atmosphere, but the stains across the ceiling. At 7 pm the complimentary seaweed soup was nearly empty, the scraps had the saltiness you would expect from the bottom of a sitting pot. When we left, the familiar scent of kbbq lingered on our clothes, without that same satisfaction of a good meal. Hard pass, and confused by the so many high ratings.

Superior to the one in Arlington, TX- I’ve always driven half an hour just to get the food here. I love the atmosphere of the Namoo here and the food is always incredible. Give it a try!

I order the lunchboxes from here often. I love everything on the menu. From the chicken katsu to the spicy pork belly, I've never been disappointed. The tempura shrimp is so crunchy and delicious. Hands down the best thing on the menu would have to be the beef short ribs. I highly recommend them!!
