Shipley Do-Nuts

Ordered Delivery - they made substitutions without calling me. I ordered creme filled donuts and did not get a single one filled with anything.

The last three times I’ve been Here the donuts have not been fresh. They have been cold and hard, as if they’ve come out of a refrigerator. It seems like they’re selling day old donuts. They may be making donuts fresh but they’re making them for the next day apparently. I typically do a chocolate coconut and or an apple fritter. Everything was cold and hard. The Apple fritter from them was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It looked more like a bear claw. It was shaped like a brick and as hard as a brick, eight dollars for five donuts That were hard as a rock and cold like they came out of a refrigerator. Makes you wonder how all these mom and pop donut shops can make fresh donuts, daily nice and soft like a doughnut supposed to be with generally two people running it. Then you have old Shipleys, The McDonald’s of donuts with 85,000 people working at a time and they can’t seem to make fresh donuts. No more franchise donuts for this guy I’m gonna stick with the old school mom and Pop.

Get someone who can communicate in English. She gave me the wrong order. Couldn't understand what I told her was wrong. Used to love this place but it has changed. Not tasty at all

It was two workers at the counter working hard and it was a little busy but the two lady's did great with the fast pace

Came in on 9/20/25 at 2:55 they close the lobby at 3 and only have the drive thru open I didn’t know I walked up to the door at 2:55 and read the sign most employees would’ve let me walk back to my car and go to the drive thru. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she opened the door for me and gave me great service. Little stuff like that goes a long way. Thank you

It's pretty obvious sometimes that the doughnuts/kolaches are from yesterday.

Absolutely incredible donut shop, donuts always fresh and always tasty! AMAZING CUSTOM SERVICE! Always so kind and considerate, thank you Shipleys for bringing me a great experience, I look forward to come back!

My grandones love these. I find them generic at best and why are they cold? As if they have been refrigerated. I can't say anything very positive, I prefer Busy B

They have new owners and the donuts are now half the size. We went today after not going for a few weeks and they are tiny, They are the size of minis at KrispyCream. The price is the same. Also my fav is the blueberry cake. Not anymore it was flavorless. Tried a choc coverd cake it was awful. The donut jad no flavor and was heavy and dry. They are usually light and flavorful. We won't be going there anymore. Ridiculous. We'll try the privately owned shop across the street. If your going to cut the size in half, lower your prices and dont skimp on the ingredients. You were a good contender for krispy kream but not anymore. Apple fritters looked like a long smooth donuts.

Lady could not understand what I was asking. I asked for a éclair. In broke English she said Long John. I asked what brand of milk after a few different words she said. Chocolate or White. I said Chocolate then I seen kind of milk.

I visited this location at around 10 AM this morning. When I arrived, I was so confused because I couldn't find a place to order at the drive-thru or a menu. As much, I waited to oder at the window. Upon arriving, there was a young man working and he immediately greeted me, he was very friendly! I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and obviously had to wait. I watched as two other young women came up and asked what he needed. One girl with a blue streak in her hair told him to do something else while she made the coffee. I watched as he began working on another drink, only for her to soon snap at him that he was adding too much syrup. The guy may have been new, but it was clear he was doing his best. After waiting a few minutes, he presented me with my coffee and was, again, very nice. As I began to pull away, I heard the girl with the blue hair streak complain that there was now a line and the guy should have done this or that. She was incredibly rude to him and also made me feel like I inconvenienced the establishment with my order. I obviously won't be going back... but I hope the guy finds a new job where he will be valued because he offered great customer service!

Worst service ever lady with red hair had an attitude in the drive tru

Second visit. Both times, I purchased 2 egg and cheese kolaches, speciffically saying no sausage. I received sausage. It's not like you can look inside before purchase.
I will not be back. There are plenty more places to purchase a donut and kolache.

My wife and I have been here a couple of times and it's a pretty decent Shipley location. The service the last I went was shaky because the woman who helped me didn't speak great English, but the food was still great.

The jalapenos in my jalapeno-cheese kolache were just dynamite! We also bought a plain kolache which was also very good. The meat was a lot like a little smokey. The bread on the kolaches was also nice.

My wife got a long john with Bavarian cream filling. We both thought it was really good.

Next time we plan to get donuts, we may just come back here.
