Every person in the staff is pleasant, polite and helpful. The food is simply delicious. The atmosphere is clean, calm and relaxing. I am so glad Justin and its surroundings have such a classy place for a treat luncheon or a great dinner.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with smiling staff and quickly seated. The waiter was very polite and quick at tending to our needs. Can't get over the deep fried sushi. . . So good! Great change to food in the area! Reading the other reviews about how nasty the ramen was confused me. It was delicious!! Both me and my sister got different ramen bowls and did not regret it!

My wife and I frequent Kurogi and other than a rogue piece of gristly steak in the Yaki Udon we have had nothing but great experiences. The sushi, the service and the sake are good! We recommend.
Also, the spicy tonkatsu is delicious.

Ramen had no flavor. I took two bites. Wanted to send it back Yea made me pay for it even though I didn’t enjoy it at all or eat it they also called the police on me to make sure I paid for the meal

I had a very disappointing experience.From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The staff seemed uninterested in helping me, and when I finally got someone's attention, they were incredibly rude. It was clear that they were treating me differently based on my appearance, which is completely unacceptable.
The service was slow, and when I asked for assistance, I was ignored while other customers who arrived after me were promptly attended to. It felt like I was being discriminated against, and it made the whole experience very uncomfortable.
Businesses should treat all customers with respect and provide equal service to everyone. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, and I won't be returning. Discrimination and poor customer service have no place in any establishment.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Food and service were top notch.
My daughter and I went to Kurogi for lunch and we ordered smoked Salmon, Smelt Roe sushi; a Queen, Frenchie, hot geisha and Northlake specialty Roll. I tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter is a bit of a food snob and she was happy. The sushi was super fresh and beautifully dressed. The frenchie and Queen rolls were so well rounded and extra large. The Northlake was savory and large as well. The hot geisha was what you would expect from a sushi restaurant. Not amazing but definitely not bad. It was a very pleasant dining experience, nicely decorated, friendly attentive service and not too expensive for the amount you get. I even had enough to take home and feed my 18yo son.

It’s a small but warm environment. The restaurant was full and faces were smiling. I got the Chicken Shoyu and it was delicious. The broth was full and rich. The egg was perfectly cooked. Noodles were a tad undercooked but still wonderful. Pork was also cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, it’s a great spot to check out if you’re in the area.

Came in tonight for a pickup order. I was not greeted. When I approached the waitress working the front she was very rude and had a nasty attitude as if she already knew what I was here for. Unbeknownst to the waitress she didn’t know my cousin placed the order and I was picking up. Never again. Could be the color of my skin bc 2 patrons walked in right after me and she assisted them promptly, with a smile and even offered them seats while they waited.
