Omg! The best bbq I have had! We were next door at Urban South Brewery and got hungry. That was the best decision we made to try it out. I will definitely be stopping here for our dinners when we come to Houston!!! Thank you!!!

I know there is a saturated market around here for BBQ. My favorite meat is turkey and I can tell you I've had some awful tasting turkey. Hard eight's was real turkey (not processed loaf as I've seen before) and had a great subtle smoke. My sandwich was delicious ! Also tried the sausage (a bit spicy in a nice way) and the chopped brisket- nice and lean but moist. Absolutely plan on a return trip here.

Best brisket in Texas!! Ribs very tender and tasty. Homemade beans so delicious everything tastes very delicious. Friendly employees./ staff.Manager Glen stopped at our table to welcomed us and said how are we doing and if we need anything to just to let him know. Very clean restaurant. I give this restaurant a five star for all hospitality and service. Will return.

I had eaten at the one in Irving about 12 years ago and always remembered how awesome it was. Finally got to go to another one and this did not disappoint. I got a little bit of everything with intent on taking home leftovers. It's a bit on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion.

Visiting family and we dined here for the first time. It was a great experience and the food was just wonderful. Great food and service and we will definitely visit when we are back in that area. Highly recommended, and it is nice that you see how the meats are being cooked.

A little different going in. However, I like seeing where they cook the meats. Better than some BBQ places where you never see smoke or can smell the food cooking. I can actually taste the smoke in the meat. This was an off time between lunch and dinner, they were friendly and checked on us at the table. If you're going you might want to look up the menu online since it's a little hard to read through the menu while in line. We will be back.

Everything was very good in this classic Texas BBQ place. Ribs, brisket, sausage, smoked turkey, sweet potato fries, baked potato, coleslaw... all worth a stop and better than better known BBQ places. Roomy BBQ atmosphere. Large friendly bar. Room for a large family. Typical pit BBQ atmosphere. The ordering process is partially outside and can be very hot near the BBQ pits in the summer but otherwise it's great! It's about 20 minutes or so south of Fort Worth. Worth a stop.

Great food, served right from the BBQ grill. Had the beef brisket and the sausage, and they were both cooked to perfection.

When the BBQ itch surfaces - one place comes to mind when in the DFW area - Hard 8. The brisket, ribs, spicy sausage, creamed corn, beans and mac 'n cheese were simply amazing. Great ambiance, vibe and people.

I have heard great things about this place. We were driving through and ordered a pound of sliced brisket. It was tasty. The flavor was good and it was fall apart tender but the sauce wasn't my favorite and the spicy sauce is super thin and runny. The flavor just wasn't bold enough for me. As for sides, I need to come back and give some of those a try!

We are in the area visiting friends and decided to head there for supper. When you walk in you order your meat, (brisket, chicken, ribs you name it) and they slice it up and put it on a tray for you..once its weighed you go inside to pay and grab any sides you want (fried okra was amazing and so were the French fries). Grab a drink and pay for your meal. Then you find a place to sit and eat. Its a nice open area (I didn't take any pics as I was just enjoying the moment) but the atmosphere was amazing. I picked the chicken (so juicy) one rib and a slice of ham and took some home as it filled me up. The fried okra was so good...the breading was perfect and had a little salt and pepper for taste that made it so much more flavorful (I'm from the north so this was my 2nd time having fried okra and I absolutely love it!!) Overall a really good place to eat. Would recommend and would definitely go back!

This was very disappointing food for the money. We have eaten here before when it first opened, and it was good and they served a fair portion on their sandwiches. This time, the food was not fit to eat. It appeared to be left over from the day before. The meat was dry and overcooked. They only gave a couple of slices to each sandwich. It was really a ripoff. We will not be going back to this place, especially when we had to watch the person cutting the meat sweat in our food.

Came here with a group of friends, loved that it sat all of us, loved that you could pick and choose. perfect for a picky eater. The steak dipped in garlic butter was amazing!
