“Living in TX as a transplant from the northeastern US, legitimately bangin’ pie from a mom & pop pizzeria is one of the things I miss most. I was super skeptical of Gooroo’s at first. A pizza trailer in east TX probably can’t be that good. Its probably some lame frozen dough, blah cheese and some gross thinned-tomato-paste “sauce” made by folks that think DiGiorno tastes like delivery… right? ?But nah, bish… they really got something here! They making a pie capable of stirring nostalgia, not longing. If you know how legit pie should taste, you’ll not be disappointed trying Gooroo’s and if you think great pizza comes from the big chain joints well, umm…we can’t be friends. JUST KIDDING!! We can totally be friends and as your new friend, I’m telling you to try this pizza… and I dunno, maybe even invite your new friend over for dinner. ??♀️ Just a thought, no presh tho.”
“Don't miss your blessings! This gas station fried chicken is all the rage in the South. We've been slow to the party, but Babae, when you do try it, you'll be straight like "f#%k 'dem fast food fried chicken run of the meal chains!" We just don't have enough locations in So Cal.”
“Awesome little shack restaurant. My only negative would be that the burger needs more seasoning (I'm sure the locals don't want seasoning, though). Chicken was very tasty. They need white gravy... :-)”
