“I just want to say Thank You to Susan at Rump's. I called last minute needing a caterer for after my father's funeral service. She was so compassionate and made things super easy. I told her what I would like to serve and she made it happen. The food, beverages and dessert were set up on time and couldn't have been any better. I had guessed about 50 would stay for lunch, we probably had around 60, and still never ran out of food. Thank you for taking all the stress off me, serving great food and allowing a sad situation to be a time of family reunion. Thank you!”

“Perfect for a refreshing lunch. Friendly and fast. It’s a walk up spot so we sat at the shaded picnic tables on their patio. We had the lemongrass chicken sandwich and rice bowl. We also ordered the peach lemonade with popping boba and it was just as refreshing as the food. Light and delicious. Definitely recommend and would come back for sure next time I’m in town.”

“Drove from Longview ( hour and 40 minutes) to try y’all’s pies. I bought 2 pecan and one French coconut. The pecan is sooo good. The two people there were so nice. Definitely will be back so I can try another.”

“I love this place but last night it was pretty bad. I ordered a Reuben and it had too much bread, not real sauerkraut, it was awful. My companions ordered sandwiches too but they had too much cheese and couldn’t be eaten. It was my granddaughters birthday and she wanted cake but you were out of the chocolate and she doesn’t eat the other options. Very very dissatisfied. But I will be back even if it’s just for a drink and pizza. On a better note the service was excellent as always .”

“Yesterday we visited Cotton Patch not knowing what to expect. We travel the country visiting different festivals so we have eaten in places from one extreme to another. This was our first experience with Cotton Patch but we will definitely stop when we come upon another one. Our waitress Franka was so sweet & thoughtful, she kept our drinks full, answered questions about the town, and when it was time to go she thanked us for having lunch with her and told us to have a blessed day and safe travels. Our food was amazing, hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Even with as busy as they were Franka had our food out within minutes of our ordering, that shows how well the kitchen staff does their job! Our only regret is that we didnt have the Peach Cobbler that our waitress assured us was "to live for" we were just to full!”

“Walked in around dinner time and was greeted immediately. Our server Kyla was supper helpful as we had never been to Giovanni’s. I lived in Chicago all my life and have been to hundred high end, small neighborhood Ma and Pa joints. The food was a 10! Right up there with the best Italian places I’ve been. We had the lasagna, fried ravioli , and Tortellini Alfredo. Each dish was fresh from scratch. You will be glad you went. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Ambiance and cleanliness was above par.”

“A friend gifted us with a certificate for Mario’s. We had not tried it out yet, so thought this was the perfect time to do so. I’m so glad we did! Their fajitas, tamales, cheese enchiladas, and queso were delicious! Charro beans were loaded with flavor and the rice and refried beans were pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant in East Texas. Not bad at all. We will definitely be back!”

“While traveling from Northeast Louisiana to North Zulch Texasto purchase calves( shout out to Tanner and Katie Skinner, Skinner’s ranch), we decided on the way back to find lunch/dinner. It was about 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. We found this restaurant on Google. The menu looked good and they had good ratings. Now because of the construction down town Palestine it was difficult to locate but we lucked up on a jewel of a restaurant. It’s your typical Texas decor but the food was good. My husband had the chicken fried steak which was good. Our friend had the catfish which was also good. I had probably the best club sandwich ever. It was worth the detours and the trip.”

“We got the mixed taco special. We had ten birria and ten barbacoa. Everything tasted amazing, they were packaged well and all of the trimmings were fresh! They were very nice when I called to order and were helpful when we got there and were trying to decide which fresca to get. The watermelon agua fresca was delicious!! We recommend this place to anyone wanting tacos!!”

“Home Grill Steak House is one of the better restaurants in the Palestine area, if you ask me! Their customer service goes above and beyond, and beyond, the call of duty. They have a great selection of food and a very clean atmosphere! I just ordered some takeout from them, and they were so excellent! I actually just got done ranting, and raving, about the experience while leaving them a 5 star Google review! I think they have a really great group of people working there, clearly, and are very friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing people who you can see, truly care about their customer's dining experience!! Such a great breath of fresh air!! Thank you so very much for the kind gestures, that you didn't have to do, and for just making my night go from not being so good, to being extremely nice! “I had trouble placing a large catering order via the Subway website catering menu from the Subway located on 2006 Crockett Rd in Palestine so I went into the store to place my order.There, I met with the wonderful store manager, Serena, who was very accommodating.She took the time to explain to me the details of each item & all the options I had.We left off the veges to keep the bread from getting soggy but added a vege tray so guests could add back their choice of veges.There were some items on the catering menu that were not yet added locally so she volunteered to contact her owner and get back to me.As promised, she cheerfully reached out to me by phone to confirm all the details & gave me the best price available.As promised, the sandwiches, wraps, salads & cookies were absolutely perfect & fresh, even which such a large order.Nice job Subway!I will definitely be visiting your store again!I highly recommend Subway at 2006 Crockett Road in Palestine ”

“Usually no issues at at but sometimes the order is wrong. Missing or wrong item. I dont like I have to use the app for 1/2 drinks. And when using the app if you use gift cards you can't combine the gift cards.”

“Now you can always count on the hot & ready to be available even during the dinner rush, however when I called in at this location i had a huge order to fill for our girls/boys pizza party they not only broke down combos/cost of the pizzas they made sure to directly give me the best deals they could knowing I had a huge order as well as let me know that if i called ahead 30mons before they would make sure my order would be ready on time for pick up along w/savings I didn't even think was possible. The staff here definitely goes above & beyond to not only satisfy their customers but top their customers needs to the fullest!

“LC Container LLC came here to grab some essential supplies for our office and trucks. While inside we found everything we needed and got to the register and checked out our own stuff during our visit we never spoke with a employee or person nor do we receive any direction or help inside the store except for when we left, there was a person checking receipt and bags to make sure no one stole anything. I really don’t understand why it seems. Hallmark is trying to eliminate all employees and treats his customers as if they are doing something wrong. And honestly makes me feel like I don’t wanna come back, I understand this decision is not made at the local level, but the corporate job cutters are making it hard to want to shop at Walmart”
