The Original Railroad Seafood Station

We ordered to go. I ordered to be picked up at 4:45 and received a text that my order was ready at 4:12. I called the restaurant, they told me that a mistake had been made, but that they would redo the order for me. I trusted that they would do that. The order cost 145.00, and we were all long time customers, we knew what their food tastes like. That gave me the old food. It was awful, the shrimp was tough and rubbery, the catfish, potatoes everything but the salad was bad. I was so disappointing.

Best fried shrimp and fish and the broccoli slaw is the bomb.

We had a reservation made for 20 at the Railroad Station in Odom for 6pm. I’ve never been there. Very disappointed. It smelled bad, hot, fan broken and super noisy. We went to order and was told that we had to order the FAMILY order meaning we had to order the same dish for the cooks to keep up. Groups over 15. This was not conveyed at the time of the reservation. Their menu fairly limited. I would never recommend this place to anyone. 20 of us bundled up all the party things and went to the Butter Churn in Sinton. It was cool, peaceful and the variety on the Buffet was outstanding as was the food. Highly recommend. The Railroad Station lost about $1,000.00 and 20 customers. AND! If you have any issue and feel the need to leave a review, the owner will just leave a shitty comeback without providing any help.. They obviously don’t care about keeping or running a business.. Don’t believe me? Look down at any of the “bad” reviews and you’ll see how unprofessional the owner and this “business” is..

Was thinking about ordering takeout, so I was looking at their online menu and realized none of those pictures are actually their food. The last time I ate there the food didn’t taste as good as it used to, and the restaurant didn’t smell that great and the tables are always sticky.

On our way to the Valley and stopped by for lunch. Food was great! Enjoyed my crawfish étouffée, mix veggies. Neice shared the burger with hobo fries with my sister n law, and my brother had some seriously yummy fish tacos! Great staff, owner, Nathan was very gracious. Worth the stop. 5 people ate for $40 from the lunch menu. Unbelievable! Be sure to check it out!

Loved everything about this place! My grandpa used to take my mom here when she was younger! Was nice to see it for myself! Delicious food!! We got a box car burger, fish tacos, and crawfish étouffée! 10/10! Burger was so juicy and tender same with the fish! Everything was amazing! Will definitely come back here next time I’m in the area! The owner and staff are unbelievably sweet!
