“My son is very picky…and called this pizza the “best pizza he’s ever had” after getting to enjoy some with my husband last weekend. We were at The Post in Orange Grove and they had their food truck out. I took his recommendation, and we got some. He was right. Delicious chew and great crunch in all the right spots. Fresh vegetables and crisp bacon. It was delicious and I highly recommend. Great service also! Adam was very kind!”

“We call it our Dairy Queen, everybody calls it their DQ. Odem has about 2500 people and is slowly growing and doesn’t have to many options. Our Dairy Queen is one of the larger DQ’s I’ve been in. It has several areas could be used for small gatherings to a decent size birthday party. I know people who travel 10 miles or more to come to the Odem DQ. And the reason is like everyone says, the food is hot and tasty, service is quick, the treats are sweet and cold and agrees on how clean the restaurant and grounds are.”

“Shot out to FRANK the chef. I drive a semi truck ?. It's hard to park and eat where you want. They have a small spot for truck parking by the fuel lanes. I was so hungry at 1 AM in the morning. They were almost out of Carne Guisada. Frank got me some fresh from the back. It tasted really good. I was finally full and not falling asleep.It's a good spot to eat late night.”

“Quail is the best in Texas. Cajun Chicken pasta is a very close second, with the sundried tomatoes. Staff is always very friendly. Only downside is the sticky tables. Drives me nuts. Seriously, sand and revarnish them. Love this place regardless.”

“Driving in from Houston to Brownsville Texas we always wanted to stop by at Agave Jalisco in Odem, TX but we were always hesitant with small town restaurants. I can say our first time experience was 5 stars. They bring out a red salsa that for me was tasty but not hot. But let me tell you the real hot sauces you have to ask. The green creamy and the red creamy habanero compliment perfectly with out hot food. Nothing was cold. Oh and if you like draft beer, this is the place, hey bring out a big colf pilsner. Big TV's at the bar to watch football. Totally recommend. We will be stopping again. The service was exceptional. Only one server but our food was out like in 10 minutes.”

“Food: the selection may be smaller than most restaurants but the fruit is fresh and delicious.

Service: i honestly didn't even get to wait for my order it came out so fast even the person before said woah.

Atmosphere: they are fairly new so I know they will spruce it up, there is a lacking in the interior but also the decor and coziness make up for it.”

“You had some issues tonight. I ordered for pickup and was told to “come on”. Got in line, paid, and was told to park, and they’d bring it out. Text arrived saying it was done. 5....10.....15 minutes later, no food. Went inside and it was sitting there......cold. I don’t like having to reheat shrimp. My last trip was NAILS. Drove up, paid, hot food in my hands, and go!”

“Nice relaxing atmosphere on a Saturday morning with music playing in the background of Vicente Fernandez. The breakfast plates were delicious! The server was pleasant. Came on the weekend of SandFest to enjoy and this stop was a great start of the day. Dined in. Very clean A+”

“Food was great on this last visit. Pizza was coming out fresh and, while not huge, the variety was there.
The pepperoni pizza, in particular, was what impressed me the most as it had a decent amount of pepperoni on each slice vs. the literal one or two slices it had in the past.
I'll make regular trips if it stays at this level. ?”
