“This was my dad’s favorite place to pick up bbq from when he was still here with us. We had not eaten here since he passed in April of 2023. A few weeks ago my mom said you know I want some Johnny’s so I went through the drive and picked up some diner, everything was so good! Thank you!“

“I was taken aback by how few people were lined up at this fantastic barbecue joint. Coming from the Midwest and visiting Texas a few times a year I found some great barbecue places. But this place, is absolutely delicious. I actually bought a few pounds a brisket and brought them back home with me to Wisconsin.“

“We ate there for Father's Day and four of us had the Competition plate. My husband had the three meat plate. It was all very good.
Vegetarian options: Why would a vegetarian go to eat BBQ? They do have some veggie sides and baked potatoes.“

“I had never been here before. But will definitely be back. This night I had been at a competitor restaurant. At that one I was told to seat myself in the bar and subsequently forgotten about. I just wanted a great steak. So I went to the longhorn. Was immediately seated, within a couple minutes got a drink. Placed my order. My steak was cooked exactly like i ordered it. Christina was my waitress, who also ran the bar Area. Never had to ask for refills. She stopped by often to check on me. An incredible dining experience. The longhorn will be my go to place for excellent food and even better service.“
