Cuban Restaurants in Odessa, TX

“When I started making plans to do my 34 hour break at this Love’s I started looking for a good meal option within walking distance. This place is beside the Love’s. I thought it was Mexican food until I got over here then I learned this is Cuban food. I don’t usually get food like this on the road. It was all very good. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming through the West Texas area. The people have been nice and helpful. Some guy had ordered before me. He had spoken to me while I was in line. Once the lady started telling me what was on the plate she calls to him in their language. He comes over with his phone to show me a picture of what I was about to be eating. One item on the plate is a fried banana. I haven’t had a fried banana since 1993 in Honduras.
Sometimes I go in restaurants for a meal and after eating what they serve I end up leaving hungry. That’s not the case with the meal I just enjoyed here. I’ll be waddling back to the truck after this plate of food I just enjoyed.

I am glad I walked over today on Saturday. They’re closed on Sunday. I would have missed a good meal.“
