Staff is very nice and patient with my sadly-monolingual self — but more importantly, *oh wow is the food fantastic.*It has dethroned Campo Azul and Los Caporales as my favorite Mexican restaurant (and, since I have traveled all over only to discover that no one knows delicious food as well as Mexicans do, that means it's my #1 favorite).In particular: the sopapillas and carnitas are world-class. It is the only restaurant I've found that does carnitas as tender as the legit home-cooked version.11/10

I LEFT MY WALLET AT THE TABLE, THEY STOLE 25 DOLLARS OUT OF IT. DON'T GO HERE. I ate here with my wife's mother and father. I would tell you if you don't know spanish don't bother. Our server couldn't speak any English. I had to have them translate for me. The food wasn't very good. Very disappointing actually. I definitely would never ever go back even if it was free. Don't waste your time the aren't honest

I am always one of those who say, that the atmosphere is up to you, if you are a bitter person you are going to feel bad anywhere, but nevertheless in fact my family and I had a great time at El Malecón! We had excellent service from the waitress Alexandra, the perfect atmosphere ??, excellent cleanliness , and exquisite drinks and food! I have no complaints about this place, I will say that I recommend them to go and if they can invite me, they invite me, I really enjoyed everything! ???❤️??
