I love the location at the Rim in San Antonio. Learned there was one is Odessa. Big mistake! Went in and all employees had their backs away from the register on their phones. Took my order. A classic with sauce on the side, no onion and add avocado with fries. They forgot the avocado. Then literally cut 1 in and put it in a container! I counted only 15 sweet potato fries, had to take the onions off the burger, 4 pieces of shredded lettuce with the tiniest tomato. Don’t go to...read full review
First time here. Not impressed. I make a better burger at home. Paid way too much for barely mediocre.
Staying at a hotel nearby, we wanted some food after a very long drive. Was able to walk over to this place and ordered a kids grilled cheese, the voodoo mushroom burger, a bacon burger and a guacapotle burger. Everything was delicious. Loved the atmosphere, wanted quick food without it being yuck “fast food,” like that drinks are do it yourself, polite staff, burgers were seasoned and cooked well. Definitely recommend!

Hopdoddy Burger Bar offers good food, although not premium, with friendly service starting at the front counter. The Wagu burger may be the best burger ever, and the magic shroom burger with goat cheese is perfect. The Buffalo Bill bison burger and Nashville hot chicken are also fresh, crunchy, spicy, and tender. There are excellent vegetarian options and choices for those avoiding carbs. Parking is plentiful in the plaza. While some find the prices high, the service is super nice and helpful, making it an all-around good place to eat. However, the drinks from the bar may need improvement, as one was made incorrectly and caused illness. The food can be very salty, sometimes overpowering the flavors.
