Food was okay, typical cafeteria food. If you are looking for somewhere to get a quick bite that also feeds your childhood lunch tray nostalgia this is good place. It wasn't cheap nor expensive, two CFS meals with drinks about $35. Anyways if CFS is going to be the only special listed everyday, it's like you are highlighting it. I figured it would at least have some crisp to it, not “bad” but I'm not going to tell people they should go out of their way for it...
Very interesting place and worth trying for sure. Think cafeteria, but not exactly as the menu is set and changes depending on day of week. I have tried several items on the menu: beef tips, brisket, sausage, Taco salad and chef salad. Honestly, all of it is good and feels wholesome. There is cornbread, chips or side salad to go with each meal. Desserts look homemade and delicious, but my diet doesn't allow me to try them. They make these air fried(?) jalapenos that can...
Definitely good food ! Was my first time to try it. Didn't know what to expect!.. My boss luckily got our meal today at lunch and told us to go there. Highly recommend it!!!
