I wish with all my heart that this restaurant was in my hometown. Their bistec burritos are so tasty and heavy. Orange salsa was the spiciest. Green tomatillo salsa was the best one(moderate spicy) and flavorful. The horchata is DELICIOUS I’m not exaggerating. It’s NOT the powdery type from the grocery store. We went through the drive through and the customer service was a PLUS. Super friendly guy. Overall I will definitely return. The Mexican flavors are THERE.
GREAT burritos!!! The best around! Watermelon agua fresca and Horchata is to die for! A must stop every time I'm on that side of town, without a doubt. 10/10 would recommend!!

Don Julios Mexican Restaurant is a must-stop spot known for its burritos. The bistec burritos are tasty and heavy, and the carne asada with beans and rice is flavorful. The tortilla is made in house, thin and delicious. The best burrito in Central Texas, according to reviews, with breakfast and lunch burritos served. The Mexican flavors are there, and the horchata is delicious, not the powdery type from the grocery store. The watermelon agua fresca and Horchata are to die for. The green tomatillo salsa was the best one, moderate spicy and flavorful, while the orange salsa was the spiciest. The customer service was a plus, super friendly. It is drive thru only and kinda in the middle of the country, in the middle of nowhere, but the food is worth the trip. If on Hwy 84 or out by McGregor, stop in and give them a try. They close at 1pm. A 10/10 recommendation, quick and easy spot if on the road or if living nearby.
