This was just supposed to be a pit stop while the rain and traffic died down, but it turned into a lunch spot. I wasn’t expecting much from this gas station, but everything from Dickey’s was on point. My 15-year-old doesn’t “do barbecue”, but after one taste of my pulled pork sandwich; he and his friend ordered two each! The buttered bun was toasted to perfection, and the barbecue was flavorful. The brisket, mac and cheese and potato salad/mashed potatoes with bacon...

I visited Dickeys today around 2:07PM, they had a lady working by the name of Hope & she made my experience by far the BEST. She was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She made sure my order was fresh.You can tell that it’s new employee’s working there by the upgraded food quality and customer service… I ordered a 3meat plate-brisket, chicken breast & sausages, & a Sausage sandwich combo everything was seasoned and cooked great. I would highly recommend...

Not much of an atmosphere as it is located inside a convenient store on the feeder road off interstate 10. The store clerk tends the cash register of the convenience store and also tends the register in the restaurant section for Dickey's and also makes your sandwich. Or whatever you order. There are no big fresh Dickey's tea jugs, only the fountain drink machine that is part of the gas station in a run down part of town.
