The owner was there which is great and rare. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. I got the smothered pork chop with gravy. My only complaint would be that it wasn't smothered with onions. The red beans and sausage was DE LI CIOUS. The home made potato salad was creamy and had great flavor. My 9 yr old had the fried chicken with mac and chz and rice. He said the mac n chz was better than lubys so that's a big deal. Lemonade was fresh and you could tell it wasn't from a gun or powder so props for that. I would definitely go there again. Take your family and I encouraged them to do a Sunday brunch.

A group of us from work went to JoAnn's for lunch. Wow! The Best Soul Food I've ever had! JoAnn and her family were such sweethearts and spent time visiting with our group. Give them a try because it is well worth it.

Wow. What a hidden treasure in Orange. The pork chops were awesome and Joann is such a sweet ladyService was awesome and her I-10 location is easy to get to. If you haven't tried Joanns, you owe it to yourself to try them out.
