I took my fiancé for his first visit! I could not believe how delicious the shrimp and grits are! I paired mine with the bowl of fruit, which isn't in season right now and tasted less ripe than I desired, it's February, so I'll try the fruit again in the summer. He had a cuban sandwich which he doesn't like mayo, but other than that said it was perfect. He complimented that the balance between the meats and veggies and crunch on the bread made for a delicious sandwich. His was paired with French fries. We both had their sweet tea with lemon and they have the best in town. It isn't overly sweet, and has a great tea flavor. To finish off our meal we shared the bread pudding with rum butter sauce. Fantastic!! No raisins or nuts, just simple and plain, toasty on top, moist bread pudding, and the sweet sauce tops it off so perfectly, which is why I give Old Orange Cafe an all 5 Star rating!

Delicious food (catfish, shrimp and rice) and a big portion. The service was slow though.

I have been for lunch many times and their food is fantastic but I had a chance to go for one of their few dinner openings. It was so fantastic, a definite fine dining experience, superior food and service!

First time ever visiting this local favorite! The walls are lined with historical pictures of Orange, Texas and even the flood lines that were reached during Hurricane Ike and Harvey. Food was great, too, although I ordered the well-known shrimp and grits. These are the best shrimping grits I've ever had! I love the fact that they make the grits into a patty that's slightly crisp and then pour the shrimp with a Cajun sauce over the top. They also had onion rings that I think might be the best I've ever had as well. Really enjoyed the meal, great service.

OK y'all! If you want something delicious, something that is home-cooked that will fill you up, then you MUST try out the Old Orange Cafe! Their food is consistently on point! They don't have a giant menu. But they have something for everyone! If you want to know the good places to eat, listen to the fat kid. I am that fat kid! You will not be disappointed at the Old Orange Cafe!

Hadn't been in awhile, but wasn't disappointed. Had the spicy chicken sandwich and onion rings and it was amazing. Get there early to be at the lunch crowd.

Excellent! Busy as usual for lunch. Seated right away, greeted promptly, food arrived quickly and delicious, too! I truly enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Decent sized portion, served with the best potato chips (tasted like homemade), and a pickle sprear. As an out of town visitor, it was only the third or fourth time at The Old Orange Cafe. Each time, I've tried something different and every time left satisfied. Great service. A+++ Thank you.
