Popped in here with our guide for lunch after a fun filled morning of local fishing. To be fair its a hole in the wall kinda place with all sorts of charm. The food was very good, being half starved made it into the best food of the day. The patty melt and onion rings really hit the spot.What turned out to be the real treat was the level of service we received. While we weren't the only customers present that day we were made to feel that they were only open to serve us and us alone, when asked if we needed anything I kept replying, "a bigger stomach".Yes it lacks curb appeal but it makes up for it in charm and old fashioned customer service.despite its lacking curb appeal I'd happily return to eat here again.

Peggy's is the real deal. Fresh food, the best burgers ever (try the patty melt!), fried or grilled fish, and great sides. Today I got fried catfish and it was fantastic! Check them out.
Great food. Will return soon. Had lunch with a friend there today. He had a burger he couldn't finish. I had the shrimp burger....more than enough to eat!

Had lunch at Pegg's after fishing, hands down the best hamburger ive ever had!!! If you are out fishing and get hungry I'd recommend swinging by for a hamburger. Parking the boat is a little tricky but we'll worth it.
