The staff was great as was the atmosphere. We got our salad which was beautiful and very delicious, ditto the rolls so we were looking forward to our entre. We ordered Chicken Parmesan and Eggplant Parm. Both of the red sauce on our entree was too spicy to eat and tasted like salsa tha an Italian red sauce. We could not eat our lunches and felt really badly because it was obvious someone really cared but got it very wrong with the sauce.
Always fast and friendly staff. Great food as well. For #2 of usit was under $30.oo that almost never happens for us. So great prices as well.
This best place to eat Italian food...if get salad ask for house dressing it's awesome.. rolls dipping sauce oh my...they know cook a pizza...
Excellent The food was great, and the service was outstanding. We will return. We have been there 5 times, and we loved it every time. .
Excellent service and food was great. Very reasonable prices. l don't know why people aren't beating the doors down to get into this place. We live in Jasper and see restaurants open all the time, and in about 6 months they close due to the locals don't support them. Support this place so when we come to Mauriceville to see family, we can have a nice place to eat.
I had the pizza and it was so delicious! The waitress was very helpful too. Good experience and great food!
Very satisfying! Stopped in on a Thursday, about 3PM! As we were entering, a couple had just finished their meal! Nice to be the only late afternoon customers!Simple menu, but look closely for what is offered within the meals! ? You’ll be surprised!Started off with rolls & dipping oil, which were tasty good! (This isn't Olive Garden where they want to fill u up on bread!) ?Hubby had Philly Cheese steak, served with crinkle fries! He enjoyed himself, very filling! Easy to handle, wasn’t a sloppy overload. Needed a “take home container”!Before we went I had called to see if they served Calamari! It wasn't on the web menu, or the inside menu, but they do offer it! It was presented as an appetizer. The marinara sauce could of been a bit thicker & more seasoned...but… The Calamari? Perfect! Which is hard to find, & THE reason we ate there! The salad is of simple lettuce, slice of tomato, a slice of red onion. Again they aren’t trying to fill u up before the entree!I had one of the Chef Special’s, Napolitano! Shrimp were nice size, flavorful & juicy! Chicken breast was generous & tender! The sauce, very tasty!Overall...Absolutely Delicious! When in SE TX we will put this on our dining out list!
fresh amazing food, and super sweet staff! I was highly impressed! Will definitely eat here again! A++++
The chicken parmesan was excellent, but the philly steak sub had too much oil.. The drinks were good... The waitress was really friendly and helpful.. She even lowered the music to an acceptable level..
This place is a very pleasant change to the area as far as options to eat. The service was great, the costs were average, the portions were good, and the quality of food was outstanding. We definitely will return

There is no option for zero stars or I would have used it.My son ordered spinach ravioli, when the dish arrived our waitress said "here is your cheese ravioli". We stopped her and corrected the order, she took the plate back and returned shortly to say she asked the cook and that is was spinach ravioli after all. The dish presentation was ok but there was no spinach anywhere to be found. About 5 minutes later she returned to tell us that the cook in fact didn't add the spinach and would we like the spinach on the side. What? So their idea of spinach ravioli is to add some spinach on top of the obviously prepackaged cheese ravioli. Not cool.My wife ordered chicken parmesan. Presentation was unappealing, the chicken was amazingly overcooked to the point of being completely dry and chewy. The sauce was a sad obviously bought in super watery bland mess. The pasta was watery and obviously bought in also.I ordered a meatball sub. The meatballs were also obviously bought in and frozen. They were tasteless, spongy, grey and disappointing. Honestly made me think of dog food. My sandwich consisted of 3 meatballs cut in half and spread out covered in cheese with a little sauce.I had hope that the mauricville community would finally have a decent sit down restaurant before going. I know now that I will not return to Romas and that they will not be in that location for long.
The food was good as well as decently priced. I got the De Roma which was declared the best dish at our table. I wish the chicken had been cut up but at least the shrimp didn't have tails still on them, which can be messy. Service is leaving much to be desired, they weren't very busy but couldn't manage refills much less napkins or anything else requested. Salad is not their best thing unless you like lettuce with a teaspoon of dressing, croutons available upon request. The restaurant was clean & very warm.
I was impressed. The food was excellent an very tasty. Quick service. We will be going back for sure
Alot of great memories at this place! I need to get back out there soon & see the lovely Miss Cindy. She is a wonderful woman who loves what she does & works harder than most people.Try the fried shrimp spud or chicken fried chicken spud! You wont be disappointed.
Good chicken and seafoods.
