“Stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner and place was clean, quiet, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered and I used the restroom (clean, private). Food came out in less than 15 minutes. Crust was on the thinner side of chewy, very soft. I ordered a small feta pizza and my husband got the alfredo spinach. We were surprised by how delicious everything was for our first time! We are a little spoiled as far as pizza goes, (we love to travel and have good pizza)and this quiet spot was a huge hit for us, definitely going to be back!”

“Visited the museum on my way to the Cardinals- Rangers series in Arlington. Had heard about the tragic event in 1937 from my father in law, a retired gas worker. It is sad that an event like this had to take place in order for the “rotten egg” smell” to be added to our gas.”

The food was fantastic. If you haven’t checked them out, you’re missing out on a gem of a great place.”

“I had the pleasure to have an ice cream Sunday when visiting Kilgore on a road trip. Vivian and her staff could not be nicer. The ice cream was fresh and I receive a nice portion. Will definitely stop by next time I’m in Kilgore.”

Have tried fried/boiled crayfish, boudain ball, gumbo, fried shrimp, gumbo( good but I like darker rue), frog legs. All good. right along with the sides. All servers and checkout people are very nice, helpful and attentive. Could not ask for more, and fair prices as well.”

“Hands down the very best restaurant my wife and I have ever dined at. It is not cheap and anyone who gives this less than a stellar review is mad because of price. Drinks here are amazing, but the steak is the best in the world. I’ve been to steak houses from DC to Isla Mujeres and I’m always disappointed. Jack knows how to cook a steak better than anyone. Service is always top notch. Staff is exceptionally well trained. There is a steakhouse in buffalo gap who can almost get close to jacks quality steak but not quite. I still pick Jack. There is a place in Washington DC called 1789 and it is a close third but Jack always wins.”

“My husband and I love this place. The Tortillas are HOMEMADE and HUGE which makes their burritos out of this world great. The sopes are amazing . The meat is flavorful and their salsa is wonderful. Breakfast or lunch it is ALL authentic great Mexican food.”

“It was good, but not the best I've had. Also, how can a bbq restaurant run out of brisket? After we ordered, 6 of us, the waitress informed us they were out of brisket and inly 3 of us would get brisket. So we got sausage. A bit disappointing.”
