“We ordered two gourmet chicken fried steaks, which were absolutely delicious and came with generous portions. We were so impressed that we could have split the meal and ordered extra sides since the steaks were so big! However, I was disappointed when I discovered that the green beans in my order had chunks of ham. I had informed the waitress about my severe pork allergy when I placed my order to go, so I was surprised that she hadn’t mentioned it to the kitchen. I assume she didn’t make a note for them, or they would have caught it and recommended a different side. This could have caused me to go into anaphylactic shock and use my EpiPen.“
