“An oasis in the desert. The perfect pitstop for your early morning drive-through Ozona, Texas. The spicy Boudin was delicious and not overly spicy and the dough was perfectly cooked. The glazed donuts are ever so slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and fluffy on the inside. I would highly recommend stopping by.”

“On the recommendation of my cousin Elsa Ferro, we tried Mi Taco for breakfast on our way back home from AZ. Seriously the best barbacoa breakfast taco EVER! The flour tortilla was cooked perfectly and the generous amount of fresh, juicy, meat was filling! The flavor was spot on! Just like I recalled my father making it!! Seriously great and we’ll be back. No photos, sorry, I ate it too fast!! I took a photo of my husband’s, he got a egg, chorizo, potato, and cheese.”

“The fried mushrooms are as good as promoted! The chicken fried steak was thick and tender, the okra was very fresh, and the mashed potatoes and gravy melt in your mouth. Our server was quite friendly. I would definitely recommend this if you’re ever passing through Ozona, Texas!”

“Great cozy cafe! Delicious French toast and hash browns. Waiter was attentive and polite. Colorful festive atmosphere with artisan hangings - Frida, Hendrix, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Several regular customers chatting it up. Will gladly stop by again next time.”

“This Dairy Queen is amazing! All the staff are friendly and helpful! I'd like to draw attention to one particular employee: Jimmy. Let me tell you he is extremely helpful, pleasant, and has a smile a mile wild!! Me and my family drive through this town off and on, so this is one stop we ensure to eat at just because the food is delicious and Jimmy is the particular bright star we look forward to seeing. I can not taste nor smell, so I rely on texture. He made sure to tell the cooks personally to make my chicken and fries extra crispy along with the note of crispy per order. When we received my meal he asked if it was done correctly for me and it was. We've made the crispy requests before at other fast food restaurants, but it didn't happen and they relied upon a note on the order to catch this particular request, nor did they check with me if it was done correctly. Yes, I say the food is delicious even though I can't taste ... We have an extremely picky eater yet our son loves to eat meals from here especially the chicken finger basket. Everyone in our family have their favorite meal from this DQ location. I sure hope management and the owners of this location know what a golden gem they have in having Jimmy be the front face and heart of order taking and greeting for the customers! He takes the extra steps to help DQ shine in this town. Typically we do drive-thru as dealing with my wheelchair isn't the easiest, but worth it to go inside and be greeted by Jimmy. Don't let outside appearances stop you from getting to say hello in return, thank you for the food, and thank you your friendliness. You can tell the gratefulness he has for his job and the other employees' gratefulness for their jobs. My wish for Jimmy is that he moves up the ranks at DQ as he deserves it with every stop we have there he is steady with his character towards the customers. Even though we are from Buda/Kyle, TX area we have friends who travel I-10 as well and we encourage them to stop here for the food and the Jimmy experience. I highly suggest you give this location a chance to amaze you with their food, staff, and of course Jimmy!”

“Was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews. Guy was super helpful and pleasant. Made us a pizza just as we asked for it and even offered to make fresh cheese bread as what was on shelf was ready to be tossed and he just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Offered the packets of cheese and peppers to add to it.”

“Two people at the counter were both super nice to me and the other customers in the store. Everything was clean and in stock. We like this subway because we can walk from the Tesla charging station, get our lunch, and be ready to go.”
