“Just in town for a short work visit and was looking for a nice local lunch place. Sugar Creek had good reviews so I stopped in and man, I'm glad I did. The people were very friendly and family oriented. The food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious.I got the daily special of the half rack of ribs and a side of oilfield trash (from another review suggestion). It was all delicious. Big portions, cooked very well, not greasy or rough on the belly. 10/10 local place, will come back again if I come to Big Lake again.”
“Best food at a very affordable price north of the Border! Excellent customer service with a very friendly staff who have not forgotten the importance of delivering superior customer service. Highly recommend if you’re driving thru or live in the general vicinity.”
“Great job on my little’s birthday came this year! She requested a purple cake with spiders, so Amanda delivered just that and more! They also have sooo many other great options, from coffee to lunch specials! Swing by, there’s definitely something for everyone!”
“I was in this small little bidi town by the name of Big lake and I ain’t gone lie they probably have like four restaurants out here very small so small you can drive thru there in 5 minutes maybe two traffic lights maybe, so I decided to to stop at this Mexican/pizza place called Los Cazadores and to be honest I was very impressed about the atmosphere everybody in there was chill watching games on the tv talking and having a great time, I ordered the Cameron nachos and OMG them things where OF THE CHAIN, somebody told me to try the pizza next so that’s what I am on today.. I would really recommend yall check this place out if you ever in West Texas looking for somewhere just to enjoy good food”
“Order was taken promptly and professionally. Car hop was courteous.Lemonade Slush LOOKED like a Lemonade Slush; thick and flavor mixed pretty good. Cheddar Peppers didn't have the cheese deep fried out of them.?”
“Grandma's Kitchen has the best of anything you might want in a small West Texas town. It has kept the same delicious staples since at least 1967 (when I would hurry with friends from the Reagan County Junior High just to eat a basket full of french fries). Buffets during lunch hours now allow those who are taking a lunch break from work to get a full meal with salad bar and to have time to enjoy their meal. I now live about 180 miles from Big Lake and I know that if I were to walk in the door I would be welcomed and I would find everything as satisfying as I remember!”
“I rarely get Taco Bell, however I tried the shredded beef taco (they call it a nacho dipping taco, which doesn't fit because it's already got melted nacho cheese on it & it's not crispy so it doesn't really dip well) Yet it is a good taco, the shredded beef is slow-cooked good, it's 100-times better than the ground beef tacos!”
“We went to Big Lake to see my son for the night & he suggested we eat here. What a great recommendation!! All of the portions are huge. My. Hamburger made me 3 meals. My husband, who has a very large appetite, only ate 2/3rds of his nachos. My son also said they have some of the best pizza he's ever eaten. He bought a large & to it to work for 3 meals as well. They are always very busy, so you might get slow service, ours was not that night, but give them a break, they are constantly running.”
