Very tender brisket. Very filling portions. The owner was extremely friendly. This is a small town. We showed up at 5pm and we were the last customers for the day. The gentleman who was ahead of us had the last of the sausage. Like a lot of BBQ places when it’s gone, it’s gone. So you may want to call ahead.

Passing through, I didn't know what to expect, but I am SO glad I parked, went in, and ordered a brisket wrap. It came with a few sauces but the meat was so tender and smoky flavorful, I never considered using a sauce. I'm no BBQ expert, but this food was wonderful.

Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was phenomenal!!! My sons furr baby got a fresh bowl of filtered water and some yummy snacks with a lot of belly rubs while there. But the rest of us left with a full belly as well. But it didn’t stop there the owner was absolutely amazing we were having some vehicle trouble and he went out of his way to help us out. Above and beyond excellent customer service!!!!

Don’t miss this place if traveling through Texas. Brisket was tender and delicious. Sides are fresh, flavorful, and yummy. Even the iced tea was terrific. Owners are gracious and accommodating - great service.

We ordered two combo plates with brisket & chicken, and brisket and ribs, with potato salad and coleslaw as the side dishes, and peach cobbler as the dessert. The meats were amazing! The brisket and ribs were super tender and very flavorful, and the chicken was almost but not quite as good. We enjoyed the coleslaw, although we thought the potato salad had a little too much dill added, which other reviewers also stated. The biggest disappointment was the peach cobbler, which I found to be rather bland and tasting mainly of the pastry. However, I ate it a few hours after eating lunch, so it may taste better when fresh. Overall, we really enjoyed the BBQ meats and would eat here again when in the area.

We stopped in Ozona on the way to Austin. This BBQ located in a non descript old gas station served brisket just this side of Franklins. Absolutely masterful food . The mom and pop owners were friendly and accommodating. We had ribs,brisket,potato salad and macaroni salad. The sides were fresh and good. A real find.
Wow Super Good Burger and Fríes , Muy Buena Comida, Excellent Food, I’m a truck driver and I taste lots of food on the road, come check it out. ?

While the brisket and macaroni salad were tasty, it wasn’t out of this world. Nor did I expect to have to build the sandwich myself, or that there was no indoor seating at all. Sort of a weird little operation going here; there is “junk” around the side and back of the building, and the actual business inside is just like a … break room? Odd little place.

Great BBQ. Perfect meats and wonderful bread. The sides need work. Beans good but not hot. Other items were fine, but not to my taste. Bathroom around side was dirty. Overall it’s good food and friendly service. During COVID you eat outside on picnic tables.
