Gem next to the Whoop Stop and only 8 minutes from Sherwood camping. I went at my friend's suggestion and really did enjoy my meal. Got the poblano chicken and the veggie quesadilla. The chicken was seared nicely, still moist, and the creamy poblano sauce was fantastic. The quesadilla was also really good. The cheese and veggies were quality. My takeout came with a bag of chips with red and green sauces. Overall I was very happy with this and will be going back.
The service was fast and friendly and the food was real, authentic Mexican food! Everything was freshly made and very good! So glad we found this place just right down the road from where we live! Definitely going to be a regular spot for us!!
So I was a bit nervous with a place connected to a gas station, but it was really good. Old school and just got everything right. The salsa and chips. get the horchata! the sauces were good and how I remembered as a kid. Even the beans and rice were good! You could tell they made everything from scratch!
